We paid the $2.00 for the tour and learned all about chocolate and how it is made. The tour is just inside the store area. The guide, roped off the area and then gave the "tour" to our group. It was very interesting, and we were given several samples, including a small brownie and a taste of a milkshake. Very yummy! The chocolate was very good. I bought several candy bars and also cocoa to bake with. This place is a little gem in the shopping area. Thanks for the great time!

While on a cruise to the Caribbean our ship stopped in Belize City. We took a tour and on our way back to the ship we stopped into Moho Chocolate quite by accident. The place is very cool the and the chocolate is excellent. We bought several of their signature bars. My favorite is the dark chocolate with lime and sea salt. I have a buddy from England that explained why chocolate made in America is so different than other countries. Many US chocolate manufacturers use carnuba wax which is less expensive. Moho Chocolate contains no carnuba wax. I am getting ready to call them and order more. If you are planning on traveling to Belize Moho is a must.

My aunt got had a coupon for free shot with purchase from Savvy shopper fromcruise. We each got a shot which was chocolate shot cup with some coconut rum. It was yummy!

This was one of our stops on a excursion we booked through NCLs. It was very interesting learning all about cacao and its processing. A good presentation and worth the stop. We were here for only a short while but that was enough. We didn't buy any cacao because it was pricey. However, you do get what you pay for and this was quality cacao. My husband and I do not consume sugar and we didn't have anyone to buy souvenirs for. But this is a nice stop and if you don't take an excursion, you won't see the real Belize.

Yum!I recommend that if you need a bite to eat or something from Belize to bring back home for loved ones, this is the place to stop.I love good chocolate and this is it. It's NOT candy and it's not a candy bar with little chocolate and lots of sugar. It's good handmade chocolate in a variety of flavours and types. I loved the dark chocolate with lime and salt. The Dark chocolate with almonds have been a hit with those back home. I am not a fan of milk and it was good but not great.Got a free chocolate shake as we bought 30.00 worth. I am glad it was free as it wasn't anything special. The staff seemed a bit overwhelmed and overworked. I was just after the holidays and there were multiple cruise ships in that day.I would go back again.....

The staff were super friendly and helpful. I asked about buying one of their burlap sacks, and they found one for me to purchase. We had Chocolate Coladas (virgin) and they were EXCELLENT!!! We were hurrying to get back on the tender for our cruise ship or we probably would have spent a little more time.

We stopped here after our cruise excursion. I was expecting a little bit more for the tour, but was happy with the samples at the end. My favorite chocolate was the dark chocolate with lime.

I wanted to try the local chocolate and I'm glad I did, but this place didn't thrill me. We brought home the ginger, almond, peanut, and milk chocolate and none of it has been great. We shared a free chocolate milk shake while there and it was ok, but none of the chocolate is all that sweet. If you like more of a dark chocolate bitterness, it would probably be ok. Glad I tried it, but the chocolate isn't worth what it costs.

This was a fun stop while I was in port at Belize City. They offer a tour of the process for about $2 pp. The tour is actually in the main room and they just go over the process with you, and you can ask questions you have. The tour isn't necessary because the information is listed on the walls, but if you have questions the tour is great in that aspect. The chocolate is raw cacao. This not a sweet chocolate. It actually has a very a bitter taste, they have different flavors, but this is more of an authentic dark chocolate cacao experience. if you are expecting Hershey's you are not going to find it. Either way overall a great experience, I still regret not buying the chocolate wine. :) My brother had a chocolate shake and he said it was AMAZING. I wish I would have tried that too.

Organic chocolate from local cocoa is not going to taste like milk choc from the USA, but I think they could make it a little sweeter. I bought the milk choc with almonds, and the brownie mix. Made the brownies tonight and they were okay. Not the best but different and neat to eat. The chocolate definitely has an acquired taste. Neat store, they have tours, and you can make your own chocolate. Kids would love.

I was really impressed with all the different flavors they offered at Moho. We ended up spending more here than any other shop on our entire trip. We ate a brownie in the café and took home 5 chocolate bars as souvenirs. They even have chocolate soaps and scrubs. A guy that worked there went into the factory part and got me some samples (try the milk chocolate-lime-salt one. It is the best in my opinion.) Too bad we were full. There was a lady making homemade ice cream sandwiches that looked amazing.

This small shop and chocolate factory is a gem. You can watch them making chocolate from the cacao beans they grow down south . You can taste samples , learn about how cacao growns and finally you can buy a couple of delicious high quality chocolate bars. I found this about the only thing worth bringing back from Belize. A real authentic product! No charge to get in.
