The cathedral doesn't look like the traditional cathedral you know. Very interesting architecture. It does seem that a lot of people like to attend the services as the cathedral was pack when we got there.

The church was dedicated to the Immaculate Conception of Maria with 63 unique domes which represents the number of catholic churches in Nicaragua. The venerated image of the Sangre de Cristo is located in a dedicated circular chapel.

Great example of modern design and function - very simple, but beautiful and entirely appropriate for its purpose. More than worth a visit.

I like the contemporary architectural style. I attended mass there and the atmosphere was joyous. The seats are comfortable. It is definitely worth a visit.

Really nice cathedral to spend some time even if you are not catholic by and for some pictures of their incredible architecture. There is a very good atmosphere.

This is a modern cathedral which replaced the old cathedral damaged in the tragic earthquake of the early 1970s. I particularly liked the blending of the colors and the architectural design. Try to visit the small side chapel and enjoy the play of lights streaming in from the tiny glass panels.

Calm and devotional place. Worth to go. The architecture resembles more a mezquita than a catholic church, but the modern plant design is curious.

Se a Catedral não é exatamente linda, pode-se afirmar no entanto que vale a visita, pois a construção é muito diferente. Creio que a preocupação dos arquitetos foi construir uma igreja resistente a terremotos.

Tiene muy mal cuidados los jardines del pasaje de acceso. Da miedo ir de tarde/noche. Hay que colaborar con el cuido de esta hermosa iglesia

No se puede visitar Managua sin hacer una visita a la sangre de Cristo en la catedral, la cupula de cristal iluminada de manera natural con los rayos del sol es hermosa, un minuto de meditacion es indispensables

Esta catedral moderna de 1997 abriga uma imagem de Cristo crucificado que os sandinistas queriam levá-la a Costa Rica...a religiosidade dos nicaraguenses não deixaram...

Te llama la atencion de lejos el techo, pero cuando estas cerca no le ves nada especial, al contrario, a mi personalmente no me gusto nada, pero todo es cuestion de gustos, como colores.Ademas la hora de la visita con mucha calor se disfruta menos.

Главный храм страны очень необычной архитектуры с 63 куполами был построен в начале 90-х гг 20 века мексиканским архитектором Рикардо Лигорретой, который был вдохновлен архитектурой храма Гроба Господня в Иерусалиме. Необыкновенная архитектура и атмосфера, очень запоминающийся собор.

No tiene una arquitectura definida, no hay guias, no tiene nada realmente que mostrar, un par de tiendas con ventas de productos religiosos, realmente. No lo considero un lugar turistico

La catedral de Managua expresa el más íntimo sentido de la modernidad en los templos católicos: espacio y sencillez!!!
