Nice, small and beautiful place. The setting is amazing. To watch sunset on the snow mountains surrounding it is a visual treat. I feel t is one of the better sunset point than a lot others which are part of tourist circuit and are extremely noisy.
Nice stadium, if you are planning then be there before 4.30pm as security guard doesnt allow easily after 5pm.Lovely mountain peaks behind stadium and color contrast of stadium is amazing.
Beautiful stadium, but what to do without a match happening. Do watch the place when matches are not being played. It gives a chance to see the true beauty of the stadium.
visited this place in feb'2015.. it was excellent place and i just wonder had there been match undertaking than it would have been gr8 experience...a cricket stadium surrounded with Himalaya's Range of mountain
good stadium with good facility. was there for the IPL games. Liked it overall. Though very far from to go for a match, but was nice experience anyways.
HPCA Cricket stadium set against the backdrop of the dramatic snow clad Dhauladhar mountains, is perched on the high slopes in the upper reaches of Kangra valley. The Stadium constructed at a cost of about 60 crore provides all the modern day facilities prevalent in other International venues across the world. It has a seating capacity of about 25000 spectators. It has state of art, separate indoor and outdoor practice areas, spacious dressing rooms, latest irrigation facilities, well equipped gymnasium, separate press gallery, TV & Radio Commentators Boxes, club house, recreational centre, post match conference hall, and indeed one of the most picturesque views in the world. Mr. Anurag Thakur is credited of making Himachal Pradesh capable of hosting international standard cricket at HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala. The town is best known internationally as the home of the Dalai Lama of Tibet. Thankful to HPCA to open a part of stadium for visitors. Would like a see an international match here one day. 10 hours by car from New Delhi.
The view of the snow capped mountains from the stadium were awesome.A must visit if you ever visit Dharamshala.I wish I could play at this stadium.
One of the finest sports complex. view is amazing and atmosphere is awesome. great place to click pictures
The setting of this stadium is unlike any other..surrounded by mountains...this place is a must for visit for sports/cricket lovers. On a clear day, the view of the mountains in the backdrop is simply brilliant!
Saw a one day and a couple of IPL matches here ! It is one of the very few stadiums in the world where people go not just because they like cricket but because the stadium has a very beautiful backdrop of the himalayas and one can sit there for hours just staring at the view!!!!
It is surrounded by Mountains, so scenery around is amazing. Very beautifully build, small but attractive. So colorful. Photograph comes as artificial scenery around.Very beautiful
you can access stadium and see the stadium from inside...it looks little small....but nice!! cool winds are present!!
It's a small stadium in the Kangra valley overlooked by the majestic Dhauladhars. Fresh, cold air blows across the ground and it is a must stop-over in/out of Dharmsala.
The stadium is surrounded by beautiful snow clad mountain peaks. The clubhouse / media center / Galleries are very tastefully done. Though a small stadium, but it's beauty scores very high.
The stadium is beautifully located surrounded by snow covered mountains, the stadium is small compared to the regular size of the stadiums, here its a bats men's paradise, you can expect high scoring game's, its also death Nell for the bowler's as the the boundaries are very short compare to the other stadiums..
