love this beach as it's a good little piece of paradise away from all the other beaches that get too busy this is a lovely place to visit if you want a relaxing peaceful day away from all the hussle and bussle of it all . its so quite and relaxing 100% would re visit again and again
Lovely day at L'amore beach cottages using the massage bar and eating facilities.Very friend team although some of the boys were more interested in the cricket than serving us.Beach clean tide moved fast with a strong under current
There was nothing to dislike anything about this beach.A bit away from the bustling crowd and someone who needs a silent place to chill with clean scenic place, this beach is one of it.
Nice peaceful beach with a very wide stretch. Not many shacks but has some beach huts there. Good place if you looking for solitude.
I think being bit far from Panaji, this beach is still not overcrowded with local and foreign tourists alike. You can have a quite stroll on the beach and have your lunch on few very nice restaurants. But I would still prefer Candolim to Ashwem.
Having travelled to Goa uncountable times, I find Ashwem beach as the most peaceful and well kept in the whole of Goa. There is hardly any crowd, the beach has golden sand, and water is extremely clean, and the best is the water is only waist deep almost 400 mts from the beach, hence safe to swim in. You can also find some high end and extremely good beach restaurants- La Plage, Shanti Bar and Sunset Ashram on the Ashwem beach. Overall, if you go to Goa, this place is a must visit.
Little away from the chaotic calungute and baga, serene, clean, beach of Ashwem. Water is clean and good for swimming. The shacks take care of snacks, wine and deck chairs with sun umbrellas!
Beach is clean, not crowded, not filled with hawkers or hippies. People mind their own business and give you ample space. Number of shacks providing nice beach beds and food. beach showers available everywhere. Beach is patrolled by life guards constantly. A lot of good places to eat on the beach as well, like La Plage or Elevar.
This beach is a must see in your Goa itinerary. Situated in far north, the beach is serene and beautiful. You can get shacks for almost free for entire day in case you order even a single dish from beach side restaurants and motels. There is WIFI available in most lobbies and you can go out in sun or bathe in the clear waters of the beach. There is a small delta type made where a creek meets the beach. People say its a nude beach, but we didn't witness that . You can stay within your shacks, there are plenty of them and you will be good. Go there if you want peace and just want to laze in the sun.
Clean and well maintained short stretches of beach.Just for lying down and tanning. Pesky local vendors. Some nudity, especially by Russian tourists. Young Prussian children roam fully nude. I guess that is allowed by Indian laws. Would be considered unlawful by US standardsNo beach activities like surfing, boating or water skis.
Stay in Candolim and generally spend most of my days on the beach there. However, do like to visit this area for at least a day as the beach is more level here, and the sea is calmer than many other areas. Quieter than further South and very pretty...
The hotel offers a restaurant. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available in public areas. Additional amenities include tour/ticket assistance, laundry facilities, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. For a surcharge, guests receive transportation including a roundtrip airport shuttle during limited hours and a train station pick-up service. Guest parking is complimentary, and available on a limited first-come, first-served basis.
We went on bike to see this Ashwem beach which we heard so much about with the hippies and nudes. Well to our surprise there beach was deserted and a bit littered but no sight of anyone except one car with a few people just to visit.. We met a women with her child who was from the UK told us that everything is closed around there and will only open in October., and that they are busy with renovations before the holiday season. If you are planning for September no use visiting here unless you want to see this beach.
I have been to palolem, patnem, colva, cavelossim, mobor , vegator anjuna, morjim almost all beaches in GOA but my most favorite beach in GOA is Ashwem. White sand and straight beach ideal for swimming , surfing , relaxing. The most important thing not so disturbing crowd. You can enjoy the sea like your own way . The beach is studded with excellent beach huts with awesome food and music .A perfect beach !
One of the last few beaches left in goa which hasn't been commercialized much. Its just spectacular,The sand is white and the water is very clean.
