The visit to the Church was really a blessing. Feel more enthusiastic and rejuvenated. Peace and the faith draws me everytime there.

If you have been in Europe or Latin America do not waste time going there. It is an ok church. However, it is interesting to visit if you have not been in too many churches in your life.

I love to be here during Christmas. Its pretty, beautiful full of lights. They have amazing shaped candles. And very well maintained.

I always visit the church whenever I am back home. It is such an holy place and really you tend to forget all your problems in life when you enter the church.

Its a faith, its a belief. Go there for serenity & peace. Buy the candles of your desire...be it for your body, a home, an off spring....Dont forget to go upto the Ghetto as that too is very powerful.

Under the scorching sun I managed to walk to the church without getting pushed by anyone. Uff!! Believe me it's a huge relief when it comes to such fairs in India. The moment I entered she was standing there above all, in sanctity. The aura in the church is soul soothing. Her presence in front of me wooed me. I could feel that hunch in my heart. It's just amazing. I would recommend everyone to visit Mount Mary church once in their lifetime.I took the route which leads to the fair. There are numerous stalls on the way. The fair definitely has something for everyone. I bought roasted black gram( kala chana) and mango slice cake( Aam papdi) which is considered as a prasad (blessings) there.Man selling black gramStalls at the fairAs mentioned in the previous article on Bandra fair I promised I would look for home made food stalls. I walked through the fair and could see a lot of commercial stalls by our Muslim brothers of Kebab, chicken tandoori, tangdi kebab, baida roll, etc. Those fuming smoky stalls and aroma of chicken barbeque are definitely magnetic. They tantalize your olfactory nerve and drool you mouth with lip smacking sight. :)However I had to find a home made stall by the residents there. Bingo!!! I found a stall where the lady was serving dishes like sorpotel, xacuti, chicken hot dog and many more. I spoke to her and bought a hot dog to eat. In conversation with her, I got to know that not many residents have put stall this year. She was residing in the building just behind, where she cooked these dishes and is serving to the fair visitors. The chicken hot dog was nice however I told that she could add a little more filling in it.Moving ahead I couldn't find any more home made stalls. Glad to find at least one. :)Chicken hot dog ala Indian style ;)

must visit mount mary fair in december, its always very crowded so make sure you take a public transport, or cab or auto and avoid getting your vehicle. as its a big hassle for parking and traffic.

The best day to visit is Sunday morning as it is to access the church with no traffic hassles. Good view of the Sea and enjoy the cool breeze. Capture good pics.

A must for photographers, what a church I must say. The building, surroundings, Arabian sea close to the church. You can actually spend whole lot of time there.

The famous Mount Marry Church - center of attraction of Christian community and tourist, located on picturesque Hill top of Bandra. We visited in the afternoon, very impressed to see beautiful architecture, design and inside is ever more beautiful of this holy place. Also impressed to see so many colourful candles, wax toy, house etc. on sale and souvenir shops attracts visitors & tourists.

This is the best place, i have been visiting from childhood. Nothing beats the peace out there in the arms of Mother Mary. You should go to relax your mind and to offer prayers.

Visited the second time and i just love the culture. The wish-candles that are sold here are something you have to experience to believe.

A very old church which is very powerful. Mother mary is always said to be very strong and powerful and people often come here seeking wishes and offerings. It's very close to Bandra causeway and just behind Shahruk Khans house. I love spending time in the church premises.

its very close to taj land ends, bandra. i often visit there during the fair. its calm, cool and a holy place. should be visited atleast once.

Its Nice area to walk around in Mount Mary ChurchThe church is close to the Taj Land's End, in case you need a point of reference. After visiting the church, you can walk down to the road along the ocean, where there are many restaurants.
