I dropped in out of curiosity and was seated by one of the hostesses, who took my order and sat, chatting to me. She explained she was my waitress and explained the show. They have a regular, Angeles style go-go dancing troupe as well as special shows (not the Bangkok style ones but real dancing!). The girls were very happy to come and sit and chat, not pushing for drinks. I found the atmosphere very easy and enjoyable. Will definitely go back again.

I went to TAO Bar as they were having a special Valentines Show, in my travels i had for got to Eat, i mentioned it to a Waitress and right away a manager came over with a menu and said we will make you what ever you want. I asked his recommendations and he suggested Sushi and Fried Chicken Roll. SO i said fine just make it fast, im starved. Ten minutes later it arrived, so i dug in i was so shocked at the freshness and quality as well as size of the food i was expecting 4 slices of Suchi. It was a Maki roll and it was so good, im used to eating at great Sushi places in Hollywood Calif or Las Vegas. But i could not understand why it was soft and crunchy at the same time. Like Nobu Sushi it had a little piece of crunchy tempura on top of each piece. The Chicken roll was rolled Chicken with ham and cheese inside with bread crumbs on the out side, It was simply amazing, i eat so fast i neglected to see the show that was going on. After that i looked up to see all these beautiful models dressed all in Red like little ballerinas. I was so entertained i stayed for 90 mins after watching the show. The food was 550p/12$ my sprite was 95p/2$ so tho hours of entertainment and food and drinks cost me 14$. I have been back 3 times since, i got the pizza one time and another type of Sushi and the Chicken roll again. My mouth is watering for it now as i write. This is a show bar so they have shows all nigh long, i was told they open at 2pm and close at 5am.I took the pics with my regular camera and the other pics with Tao label i barred from their website.Just as an added note service was top notch also.

Tao stands out amongst all bars in the Angeles scene. In almost every other case, bars have minimal "show" and mostly are about drinks and girls. Tao is about Entertainment. Sure there are girls.. but there also large stage shows, choreographed numbers, expensive custom costumes. The shows are coming one after the next. Walking into Tao is like walking into the ultimate party every night. Drinks, great food, great service, and truly entertaining stage shows. Feels like a little slice of Las Vegas... Philippines style!

I must say I have been to this place many times as I frequently visit angeles! This place is always exciting and upbeat , the last time I was there they added some new seating . It puts the girls in front of you!! Its like every seat is now a front row seat!! Also they serve sushi now and I must say again fantastic ,the service the food was solo good ! And of course they do have the finest shows in angeles ! True las Vegas style shows ! Finally the girls are the prettiest in angeles and always dressed very well ! It is not Ur normal sleaze style club ! I highly recommend it !!!

Bill came to 3800 pesos. i gave credit card and they charged 4800 peso and said its service charge !!!

Wow what a great bar. They did a Can Can show. It blew my mind!!!....Manager Larry good guy. Very helpful. Really can't wait to get back for another visit.

I FOUND OUT THAT THERE WAS A THIRD FLOOR WHERE YOU CAN SEE EVERYTHING DOWN STAIRS AND THEY OFFER THE BEST SUSHI PLUS RESERVE A PARTY AND I GOT MY LIFETIME VIP DISOCUNT CARD 10% OFF, not bad for a long time drink plus the foods are good and the girls are really cute i think its the best place that i have visited so far and the owner is so kind seriously and funny he would stay with you all the way

Having visited the Nightlife Scene in Angeles numerous times in the past, I went into this Bar, which is already impressive from the outside, and found myself in midst of some fantastic Vegas style shows. The Ladies constantly change their uniforms and one can really tell that a lot of work went into the choreography of the shows and different dances. This is also a venue where I am happy to bring my Gf to, as she also enjoys the entertainment offered. Apart from that aspect, there is a number of people involved in guaranteeing that one is having a great time ! There are different Managers - who speak a multitude of different languages - available, so that one can really feel comfortable and well taken care off. I can highly recommend this venue and am sure that every Patron will have a really good time ! Enjoy TAO !

I went out on walking street an go in to many bars but the one what was standing out the most was this TAO.There i had great service an the entertainment was so good that i could leave had to stay all night never saw this kind of shows an this kind of fun in angeles all ppl there friendly the staff exact on what I was looking for in a bar.An oh yea did try there sushi mmust say was the best ever had so far.

If you are looking for great entertainment in Angeles City , you need to visit this place. Specially the Level 3 . You need to see the Dynamic Dancers perform. They are awesome. Also you need to meet the owner of this place . he is a very nice person. one of a kind individual. he's cool.

This place is the top of the list for great entertainment! fabulous show girls multi talented sing dance ! Performance like cirque de soliel , fire shows, monthly eveents such as xmas chinese new year etc ! Also it has an interesting VIP Level 3 lounge and restaurant opening soon if its a gud as the showbar its a must see

All I can say is this is has to be one of the top 2 place's in ac if not number1 for sure close second ;) this place is really taken the show theme in ac to a whole new level whether you're on a date and want to take your misses out you will not be let down by any means even better if your solo and want to be entertained be sure to make tao your first stop on your list they have a great menu to serve food that will go toe to toe with any restaurant in angeles. If the shows are not your type grab your date head up stairs to level 3 ultra club were you can dance and party the night away. Seriously this place has it all no where else in ac can offer you this beautiful women great food great service and a disco...... no were else offers a 1 stop shop tao has set standard for entertainment in angeles city.

Okay you won't have any slot machines or other games of chance like Vegas but you will be entertained more than any other place in Angeles City almost as though you were attending one of those large Vegas casino performances, just a little smaller. I so enjoyed my visits to this place.I want to point out that I am in no way related to, affiliated with or connected to anyone in this establishment. I have to point this out because I loved this place and how I was treated there and my review is going to reflect this in the most glowing of terms..Formerly the Forbidden City, the club now under new ownership and new management, is so very well designed and continues to evolve under the visionary leadership of the new owner and his new manager, two of the very nicest people you will ever meet anywhere, ESPECIALLY in a nightclub. These two first class, and I mean FIRST CLASS individuals are what makes the heart of this club beat. Their style with their employees is as gracious as it is with their customers, creating an almost family feeling among the staff which seems to overflow to every customer that enters the place. You may think you're a stranger to them when you enter but you will leave feeling like you a part of something really special.Before I continue I should mention that having gone to this club over a two week period almost every night, I had a chance to really get to know these guys while there. The reason why? Both Joe the owner and John the manager will come over and introduce themselves to you. They may even ask if they can join you and engage you in conversation. They are really VERY interested in your perception of the club, of the wonderful employees that work there, the performances, the works. They seem to be on a constant quest to make this place better. But most of all they will make you feel welcome and appreciated. When entering you will find yourself surrounded by some of the most beautiful and tastefully dressed women in this town. EVERYONE is sooooo friendly and welcoming!!! The club itself is very well designed with multi-tiered seating on the first floor so that every seat is the best seat in the house. The interior design is very tastefully and artistically done. There's also second floor seating which overlooks the stage which I can't really comment on because I've never made it past the first floor. They are in the process of building a third floor disco but for now if you really want to dance, in between the best choreographed dance routines you will find in this town, they have sort of free style dancing by some the dancing girls on stage where you can dance in front of the stage and in some instances even be invited up on stage to dance with the girls. Okayyy, yes I did once.....maybe twice.....maybe more. :-). Speaking of those highly choreographed performances, their professional dancers are not good, they are grrrrreaat!!! There are a number of different, excellent performances but there are some that involve these absolutely gorgeous dancers hanging from curtains and some with poles in which these ladies are performing acrobatics that would be worthy of Cirque Du Solei, SERIOUSLY!!. Being a former gymnast, I can tell you that some of the power moves these ladies do are amaaaazingly athletic as well as aesthetically stunning. One titled Sky Dance was performed by a group called Dynamic Dancer and is a must see! I have met the team of choreographers and congratulated them all because what they have done is to create a true work of art in motion with ALL of the dance routines.They also have some terrific vocalists. There was a soloist that will knock your sock off. She is a star. There were also vocal groups that were very good with accompanying dancers.There is a range of specialty drinks that is wide and creative. My favorite was, this spectacular flaming drink that is a multi-level assortment of liquor and liqueurs that is as delicious and visually captivating as it is potent. .All in all I don't know what is your reason for coming to Angeles City but I can honestly say that Tao alone is a good reason to visit. As another reviewer pointed out, there is an element of sleaze and girlie bars in AC. All I can tell you is that Tao is soooo, far from that. It's a place you would feel perfectly comfortable taking your wife or girlfriend but single men seem to dominate and enjoy it the most. If you go alone, you will not feel alone and will not feel lonely. It is not just a step above the rest of the entertainment in AC, it is a monumental leap above the rest. You will definitely NOT be disappointed.

Among the myriad of girlie bars down Walking Street, Tao stands out as different. Of course there are the usual array of girls on stage aimlessly swaying but unususlly, they are all fully clothed. No bikinis or tacky outfits in this bar, but what does make it different is that these girls occasionally make way for well choreographed dancing girls who put on an entertaining show. Another welcome break in a city of sleaze.
