masjid dimaukom (pink mosque)

About 10min walk from the main road, the mosque opened late 2014 ad financed by then Municipal Mayor Dimaukom which bears the name of the place. The bright pink color is painted all over the mosque from facade to minarets and domes. It can hold about 200 worshipers. In a land torn by war and strife, the colors represents a calming presence as with other pink colored public buildings like the school, town center and town hall.
