hawk paragliding school

This was my first time doing paragliding and i have to say that is was "amazing" from the drive to the top of the mountain to the landing. The guys are great. They explain everything and make sure that you have a memorable experience. if you ever go to the north area of the Dominican Republic, This should be in your to do list.

Once your up there in the sky it just feels amazing. It is really quite and peaceful there. The guides are friendly once you hang with them together on the kite, before you get little attention. You fly over the mountains and the city of Jarabacoa. Very special view.

This was the first time that I have tried Paragliding, and I cant tell everyone how much I enjoyed it. Luis Jose and Juan the two instructors that went with me were extremely professional with everything they did. From the beginning they were upfront and transparent with the price, potential length of flight, and different considerations they needed to take into account to make the experience "top notch." The Hawk Paragliding instructors came to pick me up right on time as agreed upon and when we got to the sight were very cautious with the meteorological conditions. We had some cumulous clouds that were passing neat the area and initially the we were out of parameters due to winds and rain. Both instructors explained all the aspects of the flight before we took off and everything went off without a hitch. It was very exhilarating to be up in the air and we caught various thermals. When your floating up there is it extremely calm and refreshing. I would recommend this experience to anybody wanting to try something fun in the Jarabacoa area, and I am seriously considering going to the Hawk Paragliding School the next time I go back down for instruction and solo certification!

This was something I had always wanted to do. It was very safe, the instructors were very knowledgeable and courteous. Luis was our instructor and created a very memorable experience.

The amazing view, the wind, i felt like a free bird flying through the skies, just a incredible memory and great story to tell.

Me and my boyfriend always wanted to do this but we weren't sure of where, i found Hawk on here and then when we asked in the hotel where we stayed their first recommendation was this one.We were on our last night and managed to be able to do it next morning, Juan from their team picked us up at the hotel, took us there along with the rest of the team. I was very scared as im afraid of heights but Ana, Juan, Miguel and "El Pichón" made sure i felt safe and among friends, they took care of everything, explained very clear all the process and have extra parachutes as prevention.We were given a GoPro for videos without any extra charge and since we were coming back to Santo Domingo (city) Ana came over to bring us the videos.I absolutely loved it and would definitely do it again with them, great service, attention, safe, friendly, you feel among friends. Highly recommended!!!

The staff is experienced, very professional and will guide you through every step making sure everything is perfect for the flight.Looved it!!!

Muy divertido. Los pilotos son profesionales y eso se puede decir por la manera en que manejan todo el equipo t la manera en que tratan al cliente. La vista es espectacular y si el viento lo permite (como sucedió con mi vuelo) puedes disfrutar un buen tiempo en el aire y tomar muy buenas fotos y video.The activity is really nice and interesting. The pilots are professionals and one can tell that by the way they manage the equipment and how they take care of the client. If the wind allows it (like happened to me) you'll be able to have a nice period in the air and take awesome pics and video.Awesome!!!
