I visited with my family and the experience was nice. Nothing exceptional, but good enough to show my little kids about different fishes.

For beeing in a mall it's quite amazing. It has quite an amount of different species, some of which are really interesting. My sun loved to feed the fish at the end of the tour with this tiny baby bottle. There are also some native animals like snakes and spiders. We appreciated it. The staff was great, as usual in RD.

I took a child I sponsor here and she really enjoyed it, especially the fun pictures they'll take of your group; however, it is really small and unimpressive compared to the aquariums I'm used to at home. I will say that the staff is fantastic and walked us around to make sure we were at the right place to see the rays eat and a few other similar things.It's worth going if you have small kids to entertain for an hour or two. Otherwise, I wouldn't make a special trip for it.

So if you are looking for things to do with small kids than you could do worse than this small aquarium. However, keep your expectations low (that includes how much time you think it will take, you can kill an hour here tops, and I mean TOPS) as this place is pretty small, the tanks aren't that big and that cool tunnel that they have in their promotional material is maybe 15 feet long. Besides it being small, the few plaques that they have are Spanish only, so keep that in mind if you don't speak the language, and most of the exhibits don't actually have plaques at all so you just get to guess what the heck you are looking at.

For it to be so high in the rakning of things to do in Santo Domingo, this is way overrated. It does have a tunnel which is why I went for, but the truth is I was expecting more. I would recommend it for people with small children if it's a rainy day and you can't really go outside. It seems like a good family thing to do for the equivalent of 8 US. One of the spouses can go shopping and the other take the kids down to see the fish. If you are an adult in company of other adults and you have done your share of snorkeling, go do something else.

I went because I was invited to a babyshower. I didn´t like that they did not offered a full tour. It was nice but If I had to paid it was not worth it.

We weren't expecting much, but the trip here was pretty fun! The aquarium is well laid out and we enjoyed looking at all the different exhibits. The one downfall was that all the info signs were only in Spanish, no English. But the staff were great and tried to help us out. Since it was not busy, They let us hold one of the snakes and a tortoise. We got to touch a sea cucumber and watched as they fed the fish. Overall, it was a great experience and a fun time. I would recommend this to others coming here.

The Aquamundo is very nice and educative, in this place the person can see some special fish, the people can gonna be to shopping, bacauce this is a very good please, for example tecnology, or dresses and have meny stores for food

The best aquarium in the DR. My daughter will forever have an amazing experience. This is as close to the USA as she will get and here's praying she gets to USA.
