museo de la masacre de ponce

I really found this little museum quite moving. The build up to the massacre from an historical and political perspective was very well portrayed. I had no problem following the events and although i dont speak Spanish the English narrative sufficed.The fact the event took place on the narrow streets outside was all the more poignient.

Though small, this museum offers a comprehensive overview of the history and day of the massacre that took place right in front of this historic colonial building on March 21, 1937. A must for those who care to learn about Puerto Rico's fight for independence and Ponce's role in the history of Puerto Rico's cultural and intellectual growth.

all the museumsI went to in Ponce are not for outsiders . in my opinion, you must be able to read spaniish, no english sub notes, just guess at what you see,and move on

This museum is small but is also the exact location of where these events occurred. An very informative museum. Take the time to to go through the the exhibits and read about the history of this event.

people who would be interested in knowing a little bit of the true story of what happen that day in Puerto Rico and I am not the person to tell the story but the only thing that can say that they masacre when the authorities in this case the police open fire against people who believed or should I say were true believers of the independence of there country,like other countries believe in there independence(USA 1776) if any person is interested in the real story they should go there

Muy decepcionada con la visita al museo ya que se encontraba cerrado un martes 22 de julio 2014 y no poder disfrutar de el museo con mi esposo ya que habíamos separado 3 días para conocer parte de la historia de Ponce y ese es una de esas. Deben de hablar o llegar a un acuerdo con su alcaldesa para que estén abiertos todo lo que es turismo los 7 días de las semana para que el visitante y turista puedan gozar de todo de la ciudad.

Sus casitas antiguas sus antiguedades la orientacion que le dan ha uno en el gran lugar como dicen Ponce es Ponce y sus hermosos y antiguos recuerdos que guarda.

Deberia estar un poco mejor presentado, ya q no estaba muy limpio y el olor dentro del Museo era como a humedad. Aparte de eso, es muy bonito y ambientado a la época de los hechos. Dificil para estacionarse.

tiene toda la historia mucho q ver no toma mucho tiempo y vale la pena
