This beach was directly across from the Warwick military training base. Nice little beach but not a lot of coral reefs around to attract marine life. Absolutely quieter than Horseshoe Bay but didnt quite capture that magical beach feeling.
Lovely beach with lots of exploring and climbing to be done across rocks and through bays.Don't forget your camera, some beautiful seascape views to capture
Had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at one of the smaller coves at Warwick Long Bay Beach! Love the sand and waters of Bermuda! Want to go back and spend more time on the island!
The reef and rocks off shore offer excellent snorkeling. There is a northbound current, so drifting is a fun option. It is exposed to open ocean so there is always chop & swells. The outer submersion are not for beginners. There are a few nice structures in closer for more casual swims.
Nice Nice Nice Beach - We were here on Labour Day and it was not crowded! Spent some time snorkling and saw some nice tropical fish. Also got the chance to see a wedding! The locals that came in were very friendly (you can tell because they were driving a car, not on a moped!) Come here to get away from the crowds for more relaxing enjoyment!
Avoid the crowds at Horseshoe Bay and go just up the street to this beach. You won't regret it, the water is calm, warm, clear and you can see fish very easily!
This beach is not crowded and is extremely beautiful with its large rocks, pink sand and turquoise water. You can also walk to some neighboring beaches along the sand. We were also able to snorkel here which was really wonderful but not the best snorkeling that we found in Bermuda (that was Tobacco Bay).
Our second day in port on a cruise we walked from Horseshoe Bay to Warwick Long Beach stopping to swim in many of the coves along the way to cool off. This was our favorite thing we did in Bermuda. Lot's of people at Horseshoe but as you reached each cove there were less people and each had it's unique beach and rocks formations. Incredible! There is one stretch were you have to walk through the dunes and/or parking lot but it was worth it. Warwick was a beautiful long stretch of pink sand beach and we spent about 3 hours there just relaxing and swimming and were able to get a taxi to take us Hamilton and take the ferry back to the Dockyard in the afternoon. We have visited many beautiful beaches on our travels but this ranks among the best. The water was very clear and calm the day we visited and the sand and rocks were gorgeous. There was a cart set up with drinks and snacks run by to friendly local girls. I think they also had chairs and umbrellas for rent but we just used towels as rain was threatening all afternoon. If you are going to stay a while at Warwick I would recommend a chair as there were a lot of tiny ants in the sand. I don't know why the other beaches along this stretch did not have ants. The only drawback to this beach were the "rustic" bathrooms basically a port a potty in a cement structure. So hit the bathroom before heading here.
Awesome beach. We walked a short distance from the main Warwick Long Bay Beach and found our own private cove. We stayed all day and didn't have more than 6 other people in the area with us at any given time. Most of the time we had the cove to ourselves. Only about a 10 minute walk to Horseshoe Bay Beach.
Just a short walk from the more famous Horseshoe Bay, this long pink beach outshines its famous neighbor. It had the beautiful pink sand, clear water and good snorkeling. The nicest part about it is that it was not even crowded when the cruise ships were in. The rocky outcroppings and cove allowed us to see parrot fish in relatively calm waters.
We went to this beach the day after Horseshoe Beach and after a few hours at Tobacco Bay. This, by far, was the most beautiful beach. Less crowded, pink sand and just breathtaking. Also, around 6pm a wedding was about to take place. A must visit.
We found this beach through our horseback ride at Spicelands Riding Center. We rode our horses on the beautiful beach and just had to go back! When we did. There was a nice mixture of locals as well as some other people from the cruise ships in port. There were bathrooms as well as a cart selling drinks and hotdogs and chips.Great Beach... not as crowded as the popular beaches.
Better than Horseshoe bay. Long Bay has the same incredibly blue water, pink sands, and no crowds. As an added plus there are several secluded coves if you walk west on Long Bay towards Horseshoe bay.
Beautiful beach, not crowded at all, pink sand moderate waves.easy to reach on the bus. Better than Horseshoe Bay
We got dropped off at Warwick long bay beach and it was breathtaking. The beach was perfect for swimming sunbathing and gorgeous!!! We were alone on the beach and enjoyed the natural blue water pink sand experience of Bermuda. Keep walking and you reach jobsons cove, horseshoe curve beach and multiple other spots along the way. We climbed up on rocks and were able to see what seemed like four foot long parrot fish and bermuda blue angel fish, great experience. I return there in my daydreams often.
