iggies beach bar and grill

we spent a week at Bolongo Bay Beach Resort and eat several meals at Iggies, (it's included in the all inclusive plan at the resorrt). The food was great and even more important, the staff was excellent. Heather noticed us every time we came in if she was working and brought our diet coke to our table right away, even if she wasn't our server. She truly seemed to enjoy her job and made everyone feel welcome. Melinda also waited on us several times, and she too was a pleasure and made out time at Iggies very enjoyable. Iggies is right on the beach with a great view of the bay. They even have picnic tables on the beach where you can eat if you wish.

Great place to hang out and eat a casual lunch or dinner. They usually have music at night and pour a healthy drink! It is right on the beach on Bolongo Bay and has games to play like Cornhole and the Ring on the Hook game.

Went one day for lunch and another for dinner. Heather was our waitress both times and she made us feel very comfortable. She remembered our names even though a few days had passed. Heather was very accommodating and we would definitely come back and asked for her as our waitress again.

The nachos appetizer was big enough to be an entree and the grilled mahi sandwich was yummy! They had a house drink with strawberry rum and pink lemonade that was pretty tasty as well!

Ashanna our server was FANTASTIC!! Very personable and friendly while being polite and professional. Her knowledge of the menu and recommendations were excellent. I truly enjoyed my entire experience but Ashanna made it memorable!! We will definitely ask for her on our future visits. I hope you realize what a gem you have serving your guests.

Awesome staff, great music, and fish tacos to die for. Be sure to say hi to Rachel! It is the perfect way to close out a day on the beach.

The food was a little overpriced and the only thing we enjoyed were the conch fritters, but of course like everywhere else on the island the drinks are strong and the beach is beautiful.

The Cruzan Carnival night was the evening before we left St. Thomas. We were staying in the condos next to the Bolongo Bay resort and had heard it was something fun to do. That was an understatement. It was a blast. Our children are 6 and under and it was probably one of the coolest things they'd ever seen. There was plenty of music to dance to, a man dancing on stilts, a fire eater, someone walking on broken bottles, a cluster of locals selling handmade goods... it was like going to a very cool little island circus. An extremely awesome island circus.The food at Iggies is really good and well-priced compared to other restaurants nearby. It's very kid friendly and every table has a great view of the bay. The Bushwackers are delicious and the fish and chips on the children's menu was as good as an adult dish. The servers were friendly and accommodating. We ate at Iggie's twice during our trip, three times if you count the late night takeout order of Bushwacker and popcorn shrimp (delicious). We will definitely go again on our next trip.

Great view! Bartenders Charlie and Todd were friendly and helpful. The food and drinks are delicious, and we loved the live music every night!

Iggie's has music seven nights a week and a great bar staff with reasonable prices. Our expectations were not high when we arrived and our dinner was outstanding. The Chimicurro Steak for $24 is the best steak deal on the island. My wife loved her homemade veggie burger. Best of all was the social scene, everyone was so friendly staff and guests alike. Shots started flowing and everyone had a great time. This is a great place to hang out and chill.

This place rocks. The band last night was from Boston and an outstanding reggae band. But the real star of the evening was Charlie. Hands down the best bartender on St Thomas. I will leave it up to you to decide on your next visit why we think that. He is a professional through and through.Quesadilla and calamari were excellent. See for yourself why Iggie's is one of the top ten beach bar in the world.

We stayed at the beach resort for a few nights and visited Iggies a couple of times.Was a cool little bar to go and grab some food, a nice mixture of traditional american bar food with some carribean twists, along with more traditional carribean food - All of which was to a good quality and a decent portion!The drinks were also great, a large variety of rum cocktails as you would expect and a mixture of local beers and more common ones. I was here with my family and we all really enjoyed the atmosphere and live music that they had on.

Beautiful views of the bay, only a few feet away. Excellent food choices. They have a great carnival night with special island dishes and entertainment such as limbo, conga line, stilt walker, etc. The staff is excellent Our favorite bartender is RaRa. Our favorite group is Flipswitch on Fridays. The crab leg dinner is very good.Donna and Robert Block

Friendly, casual dining. The food was tasty and the staff was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the music, buffet and entertainment on carnival night. Fun place!

Our first visit to St. Thomas and first stop, Bolongo Bay resort. Iggies is one of the two restaurants here. Love the setting, on the beach with great food, live music nightly and certainly relaxing. We ate nachos, fish tacos, sweet potato fries and a mahi sandwich. Everything was fresh and delicious. Prices good too which made up for staying at an expensive resort. Bartender Rocky extremely nice and an excellent bartender. We're certain to have dinner there tonight as we love the location, delicious food and the entertainment.
