raleigh falls

We used to stop at this site all the time when I was a child. somewhere I have old 8mm film of my family at picnics here back in the 1940s If i could get some economical way to transpose them it would be fun.On the last few trips to Thunder Bay the road up to the site was blocked with rubber pilon I am not sure why.

Raleigh Falls is easy to find on the internet, however the location is not exactly noted anywhere. The exact road it's on is called Raleigh Lake, about 20 minutes west of Ignace just off HWY17. A short walk leads you to some small yet beautiful waterfalls, you can stand exactly where the falls drop, or a small viewing pod after. Great little stop to see something and stretch your legs on the highway.
