This is a beautiful hike and you can take the time to enjoy a nice swim, but remember to BRING A PRINTED MAP as you can not just go by your cell phone GPS. But tracking your progress on the GPS helps you judge where you are at on the trail and what direction you should go since there are a few places where the trail is not clear. You will also have to wade across a river and climb up a rock face which makes this trail an intermediate to ADVANCED hike. There is a nice parking area with an outhouse at the trail head.One negative is that you finish the last little part by walking on the highway to get back to the parking lot... (Note the entrance to the trailhead is AFTER Dark Sky Viewing Area if you are travelling from Napanee.) If you don't linger or swim you can do this hike within an hour and a half, but you should give yourself a good 2 hours so you can take in the fresh air and beauty.
