Enjoyable late afternoon early evening round. staff was helpful And the layout is easy to navigate and walking was a breeze, flat as a pancake. Tight course winding through the forest and the pros will not hit many drivers when they play PGA canada tour event here later this summer. If playing at dusk be sure to bring bug spray, Mosquitos fierce.

I've played golf all my life, (50 years of golf) and in many many locations, so I shall write this review from a golfer's perspective.Overall I give this course an 8 out of 10 Here's what I like about it.1. Excellent Value, great course for about $35 green fee.2. Friendly Pro-Shop.3. Golf course is in excellent condition, super greens keeping. Greens were the best I've played in the Ottawa area this year (2013).4. Each hole is individual, and defined by mature trees, so you see only one hole at a time.5. Course is tough, but forgiving and fair (CPGA Pro Tournament being played here in 2013).6. Holes are relatively flat, but challenging and well defined.7. Course was not busy, quick pace of play.8. Shower facilities.9. Great bar/restaurant, nice decor and friendly staff.10. Great value, well conditioned, good facilities, picturesque golf course, a hidden gem.Definitely an excellent place to tee it up! Will play again!!
