If your little ones are in to dinosaurs this is a must. A trail through a field and a forest is full of prehistoric dinosaurs and other creatures.

My daughters were about 6 and 8 when we took them for the first time. The eldest kept looking back into the forest past the dinosaurs and after we went around the trail, wanted to go back a 2nd time. It took me a while to realize she was looking for the live dinosaurs. These are life size recreations with some information on each statue. We still go back almost every year. A very enjoyable walk back into time.

The owners have spent years building and maintaining these life-sized concrete dinosaurs set in a country path setting. Little ones will enjoy "digging for fossils" buried in the "fossil pit" and some wonderful photo opportunities are sure to have mom and dad (or grandma and grandpa) smiling as wide as the kids.

I had gone gets as a young kid and came back to take my 4- year old son. He loved every second. The dinosaurs are built to size and life - like and the hike is very enjoyable for all. The pathway makes an easy hike for most. The fossil dig was a huge hit!Price is very reasonable. $8 per adult, $4 for a child. Picnic area available. Just bring bug spray in early summer!

This was my second time to this park, it is a great place to take the kids, lots of places to run around and you can even bring a picnic with you.Last time the price we paid was $10.00 per adult and $6.00 for the kid....I am assuming that, as we paid $26.00 for 2 adults and one child. The owner if very friendly, the walk is relaxing. Bring bug spray, as most of the places are in the forest and the mosquitos do get to you. If you do not have the spray, you will be able to buy it at the entrance.Would go back there again and definitely will recommend this place.

I went here in the summer and it was absolutely amazing! I am 20 years old and had the time of my life. I love how huge the dinosaurs are! They're actually real life size and are just fabulous. I would go again in a heartbeat.

Visited w ith my 7 yr old grandson. A lovely walk through a wooded area with amazing sculptures of prehistoric animals. No rush you wander at your own pace. Excellent design on the sculptures. Life size so many are amazing to a child. A fun family stop.

Our granddaughters, aged 5 and 9, thoroughly enjoyed our visit. So did Gramma and grampa! It really is an attraction for all ages since the two brothers who own and create all these dinosaurs to there proper scale are recording for all of us that piece of history that we have no pictures or drawings of ... only recovery of skeletal remains that form the basis of the size of these creatures. This location looks very casually like someone's home. And it is! The display is in the acreage behind the home and is well groomed and laid out to make our day an enjoyable walk in the sunshine and then a concrete path through the woods.Public washrooms are behind the office area of the house. Plenty of room for a picnic but you must bring all your food and drinks as there is no store on site.We were warned that bug repellant may be needed as we enter the forest path but we did not encounter any pests on our visit. However, be a good "boy scout" and be prepared.

My sister and I took my nephew (6 years old) and my niece (4 years old) to this attraction. From where we live it was about an hour drive. We went for lunch at the chip stand down the road from the attraction - excellent food. Then we drove to the attraction. It was $10/adult and $6/child. The gentleman who owned the place gave us some bug spray just in case as the 1 km trail goes into the bush. It was my sister and her children's first time visiting the attraction. The children loved it, they loved running along the stone pathway and seeing all the dinosaurs. They were in awe at the size of the dinosaurs. Also, they enjoyed digging in the sand to find dinosaur bones. The children could have gone two or three times through the trail but we had to stop them as we only wanted to stay for short time. We were probably there for about an hour and half, which was what we had planned for. I have been to this attraction before and would recommend it for a short excursion. I wish the gentlemen would finish some of his attractions and maybe add a few more as the place has not changed in over five years. But overall it was enjoyable, especially for the children.

Prehistoric World is a private walk in a backyard in Morrisburg. The owner of the home has decorated their land with a multitude of life sized dinosaurs along with a little information about each one. There is also a little sandbox with some 'fossils' to find but most of them were uncovered when we went and it does not appear that anyone ever re-covers them to make the box more fun to explore. The whole 'walk' is less than a kilometer with about 20 dinosaurs to see. There is also a little picnic area and bathrooms on the site. We took our 5 yr old to see the park today and spent maybe an hour there - which was rather disappointing given it is an hour and a half drive from our home to the site. The website listed the price of admission incorrectly (or it has gone up since then) We paid $10 for adults and $6 for kids to visit. It is very cool for the little ones to play around the dinosaurs (but no climbing) and our son loved it but considering the length of time to get there, the price of admission and the fact that there is nothing else there, it is really not worth it to go more than once. If you do visit, the hours are from 10am - 4pm during the summer. Bring bug repellant as the forest portion of the walk is a haven for mosquitoes ( we still got bit WITH bug spray). Also, they do not accept anything but cash and Canadian Tire Money for the admission fee so be prepared.
