The outside of the building looks good and it is well designed, it is nice to use the front as an ice rink in the winter. :)

Having lived in Kitchener my entire life; I have to say it seems like our City Hall has truly been the "heart" of the city. My favourite city hall was unfortunately torn down back in 1973 to make way for "a new shopping mall" that never lasted more than 20 years; but I guess city fathers would say "that's progress!" (or maybe not in my opinion.) This newest city hall...reminds me a wee bit of Toronto...skating rink or fountain out front (depending on the season), Carl Zehr square out front that hosts numerous activities from festivals to concerts year round. If you're in Kitchener - check it out. There is probably something going on in or outside City Hall. Great place to purchase City of Kitchener apparel or visit our Small Business Centre if you're thinking of setting up your own firm!

City hall has skating in the winter, and summer entertainment for all. Live performances, bar b ques, local artists, very close to the Kitchener Bus Terminal and right in the heart of downtown Kitchener. Great place to enjoy international foods and shopping.

The wedding chapel was beautiful - we attending a very beautiful wedding of my son and having a chape at city hall was a nice touch.

I went to Kitchener's city hall and was amazed how nice the people are who work there. I had asked for directions and was given a personal guided tour to where I needed to go. That's GREAT service. There are murals on the walls which detail some of the attractions in the city and also some of the people who made Kitchener a wonderful place. I will return to the city hall when they have more attractions out front.

The city hall has an interesting facade. I love the fountain out front, which doubles of the ice rink in the winter. There is a large open foyer which holds many events through out the seasons. Check out the activities planned in the Kitchener-Waterloo area. I was impressed and hope you will be too!

We found the City Hall listed under museums on the Internet and had time to kil, so wentl. The Berlin Tower Space is a very small room, so is limited for art and in this case was full of old bicycles and machinery they were calling art. The Rotunda gallery is a short, curved hallway display. The art displayed at both places was contemporary and not to our taste and even if we had liked it, the amount is not what I would call a gallery and worthy of a destination visit. If you are nearby, by all means go look at the lovely City Hall building, but don't make a special trip.There is a nice fountain out front and a band was playing during the lunch hour the day we visited. Great place to sit and enjoy the weather!

Visited City Hall, purchaed the requisite license and the whole thing was so quick and painless you wouldn't even believe that you were doing business with a government agency.

The city hall was a welcoming place for everyone on new year's eve. It was a very cold night, and many people prefered staying indoor rather than listening to music outside.

Its just a city hall, although it does have art and historical exhibits throughout. BUT... it was a great venue for the canada day celebrations, for free live music throughout the summer, and in the winter they turn the fountain out front into a well maintained ice rink. unique about this is that it is artificially cooled so even on warmer winter days they still have great ice! and its open all night and day....
