We have hiked the Centennial Ridges Trail in Algonquin Park many times. It is a demanding 10KM trail that sees you climb up to some of the best views in Ontario. We have done it spring, summer, and now the fall (we don't believe it is open in the winter). For Ontario it has three rugged climbs that range from 80 metres to 120 metres, but the views are worth it. Take along the Guide Book that will explain the different points of interest along the route (there are 12 of them). And don't forget a camera. The official description says that you should set aside 6 hours to do this hike, but we have never taken that long, even when going with inexperienced and otherwise sedentary friends. If you like to be outdoors and are reasonably ambulatory, this is a must when visiting Algonquin. If you do not think you can do this hike, there are many others that cover all ranges of difficulty.
