glen afton golf course

It was a challenging cousrse with some interesting water holes! Unfortunately we gad to play the back nine twice but paid accordingly

My husband and I enjoyed our first round of golf on PEI at Glen Afton, and were thrilled with the ocean views on the back nine. This is a good course for all levels-nothing too tricky or frustrating, with nice wide fairways and minimal hazards. We rented a power cart, but it easily could have been walked. Very casual and friendly atmosphere, and not crowded on a Wednesday afternoon. Good value as well. We had our own clubs, so cannot speak to the quality of the rentals.

A pleasant golfing experience. We three couples were in Charlottetown for the day on our cruise and decided to play some golf. Glen Afton might best be classified as an upscale muni (is that an oxymoron???). Anyway, the course is player friendly with spacious fairways and greens. Everything was in excellent condition and the setting by the bay was enjoyable. The rental clubs were C+ to B- in quality---and an excellent value given the nominal price. We'd definitely play again!

A round of early morning golf in 3 hours leaves so much of the day to enjoy more sightseeing on PEI. The greens were in great shape. I feel bad for the course as golfers were pulling up way to close to the greens. Approximately $100 per round for two people with one person renting clubs. Rental clubs not the best brand but my new to golf husband still shot 94. Club house staff very pleasant. Bring bug spray (but then you should for everything on the island anyways).

Visited this golf course for a round whilst on holiday. We played as a four for the first nine holes but the ladies retired after nine mainly due to the heat - we really aren't used to it! Two of us continued and completed the course which we really enjoyed. There is a really good mixture of par 3s, 4s and. Couple of challenging 5s. We hired clubs from the course which were generally ok. The irons were good but the driver and woods were a little old I think! The extremely nice staff at the golf course really looked after the ladies with some drinks and snacks after they retired at the 9th - very generous and kind. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely return!

Great course. Loved the 6th hole. Awesome scenery. Relaxing and we'll maintained. I golf at different courses when I visit pei. Definitely a favourite
