Everywhere you go in BC, wine enthusiasts talk about George. He has a unique perspective on wines. He knows his stuff and has a fine shop and bar set up on the edge of the road in Cawston, on the road from the big city to the south Okanagan. Cawston is expanding with several very nice wineries now. At Seven Stones, the wines are fine and the knowledge you can gain there is immense. If you get a chance, try to have a chat with George himself and try to see the caves where the wines are stored. They have a lovely deck with a view that is a nice place to sit and nibble and sip. - Mitch

I have been a fan of George's wines for a number of years and try to visit whenever we are in the area. We like the Chardonnay and Rose but are passionate about the red wines produced here. As it happened, George was on hand in the wine shop as we arrived and we were soon discussing the wines and trying to decide what to buy. That done and no more visitors immediately in sight, George gave us a preview tour of the cave, due to open on 10 August. This is a great addition to this extraordinary small winery. We look forward to attending an event there.

Love to visit,scenic views,excellent place to picnic with a very tasty wine. I love the full dark Meritage the best,a must stop when you drive through Similkameen Valley overlook the lovely River.

Seven Stones wines are excellent. The grounds and tasting room are delightfull, as well as the gift boutique !!!! We had a wonderful experience in August with visiting guests and came away with 8 bottles of wine including their most excellent Merlot !!!!!! We will be visiting again next season !!!!!!

We arrived to the winery rather late. George accepted us with a large smile and while waving away our appologies , explained what types of wines he makes , where is he coming from and what is the story about the big seven stones ( they are left overs of the glaciers and are holy to the ancient local population ). During all that period he offered us wine tasting from his different types. We enjoyed the visit and bought some wine that served us during the rest of our trip - very recommended stop !
