in good shape this year. a few years away from maturity. Still love Northview on 168th over here but service is just as good.
This is a great golf course for all abilities. Large wide fairways, generous greens. The Great Wall is a fun addition
Pagoda Ridge is a fantastic golf course. It has GREAT drainage and tends to be dry even after a heavy downpour. This course has a good combination of easy, medium and difficult holes. We love it!
This was our second trip to Pagoda Ridge, and as a reasonably good golfer, I was bent on improving on my brutal performance on my first visit. First off, the green fee was under $50 with tax. Playing time for the round was about 4 hours for our foursome - not bad for a public course. We played the blue tees at about 6300 yards, and three of us were single digit handicaps and one at 27. Very playable for all, with a lot of room off the tee, but tough shots into greens. A lot of lengthy par 4's and a lot of good golf holes. The conditioning was great, with the rough being somewhat penal but not overly so, and the greens holding shots well (haven't seen that anywhere else for a few months!). Greens were a little bumpy due to softness, but putted very true despite that. If you're looking for a good golf experience at a vey reasonable price, this is the place.
Beautiful interesting course. A nice view from the Great Wall of china. Makes an interesting photo op. The course is shortish with tricky greens. Pay attention on the practice green, no apparent break seems to go towards valley. Restaurant has good food for the price.
Some interesting holes - #10 apparently used to be a landing strip - beautiful view at the end and going to hole #11 is unique. I won't spoil it for you. Friendly staff, interesting snack shack after whole # 9 in the shape of a ship and you can boast that you went across the great wall of China. Other friends who have golfed the course love it as I did. I will be back.
This was a fun course. Never heard of it before and our guys night golfing tried it out. We'll be back! lots of little challenging holes and some great scenery. The odd yet very cool landscape including the big 10th hole ship and the great wall of China(?) made for some fund conversations. Not too much sand but lots of water. Recommend trying it out! only downfall (potentially), very walkable course except from the 10th to 11th. they have a shuttle set up and it can be walked but keep that in mind. We were there twilight and luckily here was a guy to help us out as the shuttle stopped at 6pm.
This course finally opened after 30 years of construction. It has a couple of fascinating features - the main one being the "Great Wall" which you walk along between a couple of the holes. And the snack shack is a full-sized replica of a junk. The course itself is a fair test of golf - in very pretty surroundings. My golf group plays there regularly. If you are deciding whether ti use a power cart or walk the course, ask if the shuttle is operating between the 10th green and 11th tee. It is a long (i mean long) walk on a path down a trail through the woods, over a bridge and and up the steep path on the other side.
