It was my first trip out with Vic and STS. Back in April of 2014, I participated in STS's "Fraser River Jet Boat Clinic. We covered jet boat safety, how to maintain your boat, river navigation and how to read the water. We ran from Mission in Vic's 28' Hells Canyon Jet Boat, all the way up to just short of Hell's Gate due to the flow of the river and the amount of debris in the river. A long and very scenic run up the Fraser River! Vic took the time to stop and point out certain things to be looking for when cruising on the river especially the hazards!! There is even a lunch included in this package!! Vic is very knowledgeable!! I guess that comes from spending your life out on the river!! Randy L

I've been on several trips with Vic and his STS group before, typicaly with my customers, and always a first class event. This year was an adventure that my brother and I planned for our father, along with cousins, uncle, and brother-in law. We did a 2 night/2 day plan with STS. Stayed at Above and Beyond.....top nothch!! First day on the Fraser with Vic, up through the Fraser Canyon to Hell's Gate, with sturgeon fishing and lunch in between. A great ride through many rapids. We also managed to land 2 small, then 2 large (74" and 72") sturgeon.....that's where the smiles got realy big!!Second day was salmon fishing with two other guides. A great day again. Only 3 salmon (due to commercial fishery being open), but the smiles continued.My dad has been talking about this trip ever since, and it brings up the smile every time. Working on making this our annual family mens event (we'll invite the ladies next time too). If you have the chance to book any adventure with STS, do it. Smiles all around!

This was our fourth year doing a day trip with Vic and STS and it is consistently one of the best days we have together as a crew!You see the river from a whole different view while Vic and the crew are a wealth of information.The sturgeon fishing is a must - amazing way to spend a day!We highly recommend STS!

My fishing partner and I fished for sturgeon and chum last week and used Thomas as a guide. Fantastic trip to say the least. Vic runs a very efficient company and leaves nothing for his clients to guess about. Thomas was a pleasure to spend three days with. He's very knowledgeable, laid back, and clearly wants his clients to be successful. In spite of the river being very high from recent rains, with got 34 sturgeon in 3 days, along with numerous chum salmon. The third day rocked, with 18 fish in almost non-stop action. No monsters, but plenty of strong fish between 4 and 6 feet. We'll be back next year and look forward to another great trip.

A day trip on the Fraser River in British Columbia, is truly remarkable with STS, from the magnificent scenery of the Devil's Gate Canyon to the catchh and release of the prehistoric Sturgeon, these 6+ footers really are a majestic fish and it was an honour to be able to see and touch them. The guide, boat and all that comes with the charter is first class. We well recommend.

Fantastic host, very profesionel guides and a lot of fish. Vic and Teresa is like a familie, very friendly and the Fraserwiew is avsome - we will be back ;-)

My son-inlaw arranged a six hour stugeon fishing trip with STS Guiding Service for my 55th birthday. The guide was on site waiting for us when we arrived, I have forgotten his name but he was a really nice guy. The boat was perfect for our party of five male adults, could easily have carried more people. The guide took us to our first fishing spot and we hooked a small sturgeon within 5 minutes. The guide was very informative and had lots of fish stories to tell us. He tried different fishing areas for us and we were lucky enought to catch and release 4 good sized sturgeon. I would highly recommend STS. I am thinking of taking the boys out later in the season for salmon fishing. Great experience.

Went sturgeon fishing in May and it was pretty cold and pouring rain all day (and I am from Vancouver) But, it was still a great day. The guide was great and he was friendly and very knowlegeable and we all had a great time. We went out the next day and it was sunny and I had my two young kids who got to experience a couple of sturgeon for about half a day and then we went back out. The guide was great at accomodating us with the kids and we all had a great time. I am looking forward to going again.

Had a great time out on the water sturgeon fishing with my dad and 2 kids. Rob did a good job getting us into a few 5 ft sturgeon despite the high fast moving water. We had a great time and looking forward to going with STS again.

A great day on the river. Very knowledgeable guide educated us on the reading the river and answered all our questions about the ins and outs of jet boats. A wild ride on the rapids toward the Hells Gate area. Enjoyed a great lunch during the 8 hour tour. Look forward to taking another tour.

The basics are covered with Vic, great service, top notch boat and equipment, but best of all this guy is good wild fun!

Hi Justin, thanks so much for your comments. The summer of 2012 was some of the worst sturgeon fishing we have seen in quite some time. The Fraser River's annual snow melt was a 40 year record high which made fishing in July and August very challenging. We did catch fish on many trips not not what we are uise to, maybe next time your in town we can try that again and get you that trophy fish that we are always looking for.Tight lines Vic
