It's a winery, but the grounds look like some expensive private school. Gorgeous! So easy to take many photos here. We had the kids with us, but hey, Yalumba has free wi-fi for those devices, and comfy couches in front of the fabulous 'Big Red' artwork. Love that horse! Service here was excellent. Wine Tasting is quite large, so you don't find yourself elbowing someone out of the way to try some wine. Ended up buying and having delivered back to Brisbane. Was here within the week. Yalumba ticks every box x x x

Lisa made our winetasting exeptional! After three days of wine tastings that was the most impressive wine-tasting-stop - not only the outstanding wine, but also Lisa - a cheerful, entertaining and knowledged personality with a big heart and passion for wine! Thank you for the good time spending with you! You made our wine-tasting-day!

After 3 days of wine tasting, we ended up in Yalumba and had an unforgetable experience. Not only the wine selection (especially the Signature, FDR and Octavius) are outstanding, but also the cellar door staff. Lisa was able to share her passion and knowledge of wines with us in a cheerful and entertaining manner. She perfectly understood our taste and preferences and offered us a fantastic selection of wines. Yalumba is a must do when visiting the Barrossa region. Thanks again to Lisa for making this tasting a long lasting experience!

On arrival the amazing site of the fantastic old buildings (still operational in the winery) instantly puts a smile on your face.Once inside the professional, friendly staff guide you through the tasting of a huge array of excellent wines.Thnx Yalumba and Thnx Lisa (we met your twin later at Rockfords!)

Thanks for your review of Yalumba, hope you learnt a little more about wine, the process involved and some history as well. With regards to the cask invention, we weren't the first to invent the cask concept, but we will claim the first ones to reduce the size to 2.0L.
