The Ex Cheese factory Museum with the attached restaurant was great. We stayed at the campground right next to the Cheese Factory and walked over for an evening meal. This meal was big, very well cooked (recommend the Schnitzel) as they have the salad bar that you can help yourself to while they cook the schnitzel and chips.Pricing was very good - and reasonable price for a great meal. The atmosphere in the restaurant (or eat outside) was great.Very good value - highly recommend it. The serving staff were great.

A plain lunch of curry and rice, and bangers and mash was very welcome at the quiet, but friendly restaurant attached to the museum. It has great views over Lake Albert. Well worth a stop.

Excellent meal for our party of 10 people. Delicious food, quick service and reasonably priced. Our only suggestion would be a small kids menu, everything else was well catered for. We will be back!

Open every day of the year except Christmas Day. The museum is a credit to all the volunteers that have made it possible and as a business operator in Meningie we are very proud. The fee is a low $3 per person in the honesty box.

Stopped here en route to Adelaide - as recommended by the GOR forum. A good choice! Lovely location - just a short stroll from the lake where we watched the pelicans. We ate in the small flowery garden, & received excellent service & a most delicious salad. Several other customers were enthusing about the food - & good coffee! We didn't actually look around the museum as we were short of time, & had also been round a similar establishment a few days before.

Thoroughly recommend the Coorong Mullet platter. Well cooked fish and well presented with a colourful salad. Reasonable prices. Location is adjacent the Caravan Park just 1km from the centre of Meningie on the road to Narrung. Drop in for a meal, and browse the dairy museum - a token entrance fee of $3.

At $3 per person ( honesty box) I dare anyone complain on price! It's open from 8:30am daily to dark generally. It's a credit to all those involved. Just a 20 m walk from gate of adjoining Lake Albert Caravan Park. Love the display of dairy!!
