I loved the location and staff - both lovely, but I echo what others have said, it's a bit expensive and the food is OK for such a price.Really feel it's a great place, but needs some work on the food and pricing.

Stopped here on the way to the Tahuna air bridge. Apple pie was good. Great space with some interesting memorabilia. Great space in the barn for relaxing.

First ever place with a cider paddle!!! Yumm.We loved the museum. We loved the cheese platter. A great way to while away the afternoon in the sun. Plus bonus being able to buy some cider to bring back to Aus.

We were here for a function. The food was incredible! I'm still dreaming about their wood fired mushroom and truffle pizza! I love the atmosphere and there are not many places I've been that can compare. This is a place I will be back to when next in Tassie!

I come here a lot so I am not just commenting for the hell of it, but when the in house restaurant is running all is well, but this is the second time I have eaten the food prepared by "guest chefs" and all I can say is I shall eat before I come next time. There were quite a few kids here last night with nothing but garlic bread for them to nibble on. Please open your own kitchen more often as it may also attract more people back. Still love the venue... go Willie.

Loved the way they have done the apple shed up and it is in a lovely location. $12 for a tasting paddle is a bit much when Spreyton do it for $15 WITH a pot or stubby to take away. Staff were lovely though and the growler looks great in my kitchen! Ciders were nice didn't like one of them but of course that's personal preference. Great place to stop on the Huon Trail.

At $12 for a tasting board and $24 for a cheese board, it's an expensive exercise. I'd be happy with just a shot glass of each at half the price.

Tries to be too many things - cider tasting, restaurant, museum (pay to enter), souvenirs - and doesn't excel at any. Don't put at the top of your list of things to do.

Dropped into this place and so glad we did. Did the cider tasting paddle and had a piece of their wonderful apple pie. Wonderful place looked after well.

We stopped in here on the way through for a quick drink and something to eat. We tried the cider tasting paddle which was fun. We ordered a platter with cheese (divine, creamy cheddar) honeyed walnuts and pickled onions that were out of this world. The museum was sort of fun for the kids and the venue is so lovely. Crowning moment, the apple pie, heaven on a plate. Nice place to drop by with some cute exhibits.

Very simple meal . Infact we ordered just an apple pie with ice cream . It was the best apple pie ever . There is a nice museum ( can cover it in 15 minutes ) and it is free with the exception of a 1 dollar donation . If you are in grove give it a try .

We love taking interstate visitors to Hobart here for a lazy afternoon. Plenty of space for kids to run around, welcoming staff, easy food, great cider tasting paddles, love the basket of rugs for changeable weather :)

My husband and I just went here for something to do really and it is quite interesting to see the old photos and read a bit about the history of the beginning of the apple industry. Also there are shelves with some rather expensive produce. This is an old shed with a museum of sorts, the odd piece of old machinery and trucks etc. There is a café as well but we didn't eat or drink anything there although it looked quite nice. Nothing to dislike really but only I think if you want to fill in time or have a nice place to eat and drink.

The atmosphere on Friday nights is worth the trip... with the Burgers that just melt. A well kept secret like Tasmania, so tell none!

We stopped in as a recommendation and were greeted by very warm and friendly hosts we looked through the little museum and enjoyed looking at the old photos and machinery etc. glancing through the cake display cabinet my wife spotted a Apple Pie that looked just so inviting so after much discussion we agreed to a slice each with a coffee as well talking to the hosts was a great delight and next time we visit im sure it will be just the samethe length of stay is very dependant on your being able to escape the great atmosphere next trip we will do a tasting of their Ciders as well
