Will stay there next time! Clean, great spa and attractively designed. Not an old mansion but somewhere nice to stay.

I found this wonderful establishment when looking for where to find Geoff Harvey - well what a wonderful surprise to visit this beautiful hotel and Harvey's Bar and Restaurant - and listen to the maestro play those lovely to listen to tunes. The atmosphere of a Sunday afternoon was so relaxing, nicely set up - food and service great.Highly recommend this place - imagine it would be fantastic in the evening too.

Booked a week-end in the Highlands for a special occassion. Rooms were spacious warm and clean. Bed was particulalry nice! We booked a package but were not so impressed with our Saturday breakfast offer so ate out of house for the rest of the week-end. There are plenty of eating options in Bowral so did not worry us and we found an amazing place were we spent most of our foodie week-end eating! Would stay here again and in fact plan too with friends in September!

LIked the service, the food in room was served hot and was delicious. The room was on the clinical new side with nowhere to put your suitcase for a kingsized room, a bit strange. TV great and free movies with the overnight spa treatment Aboriginal style, was awesome!

The us of a cart was good. The dining facilities are excellent with a view over the course. Pro shop manager was v/good and helpful

Great Golf Course, the best in Bowral. With 2 playing, 18 holes cost $35 with a cart, good value. You won't be disappointed. $10 for a light lunch with drink

First class place to have an escapade we had a 2 day "Play and Stay" golf package and it was excellent and great value for money the golf service was excellent but I must say a challenging golf course, breakfast included was a plus.Recommended if you want to get a way for a couple of days.

We booked well in advance for a wedding, we were taking my mother in law to look after our baby so we booked a two bedroom suite package. It was not cheap but having her in our room was the priority. Well, when we checked in and got the key we found a tiny room with one king size bed and the cot we requested.I went back to reception and told it was an error and they did not have any two bedroom suites available. In fact she looked at a hard copy print out in a folder of all the bookings and circled on ours was 'unavailable'..... wish we had known in advance. Anyway we were given an additional room on the same level.That night we slept well, the beds are comfortable however my mother in law had guests next to her smoking pot on the balcony and she was down wind. I told reception about this as we left but at checkout there was no 'how was your stay?' so I just told them!The room service ordered was apparently very nice and very fast. Our rate included dinner for two but we opted for room service. The in house movies were quite recent and plentiful too. Breakfast buffet was really lovely and fresh, not too crowded and regularly topped up. The newspapers were a lovely touch.Like everyone else has mentioned, it is very run down for a two year old hotel. Paint is patchy and toilets near the buffet open toward a pillar making them hard to get into, carpet is also patchy and worn. If our room was what we asked for a paid for I wouldn't have had much to complain about but it seems they were aware of this error in advance, didn't mention it and got no apology. Oh well, it was a one off visit and if I did need to return I would stay there again but would call to check on my room before I left home!

A beautifully appointed hotel A1 service lovely grounds best breakfast buffet i have had.Not cheap but good value . Intersting Bar named after Jeff Harvey of TV channel nine fame he was there on the night and my guest were quite excited at meeting him. Friends played Golf on the private course and had a great day..If there was a need to go back to highlands we would definately stay at the Gibraltar

If the place had some atmosphere and staff that were interested in assisting you - the place might not feel like a morgue.I was bitterly disappointed in the service when enquiring about taking 40 guests there for a 3 day conference. Yes we went elsewhere and had a great weekend!

Only open for lunch, good selection of food.. the service and friendliness of the staff is comforting.. Beautiful view of the Golf course.. Enjoyed a lovely afternoon

Gibraltar used to be nice golf club based establishment.New owners have destroyed original feel.Dining room overpriced and service varies on most nights.Food only average and drinks overpriced. Better golf clubs in area for food and reliability.

Lush green and sooooo peaceful. A lovely green, with a beautiful outlook. Motorised buggys and a great feel.
