snowy river horseback adventure day tours

Wow! What an absolutely beautiful weekend we had on this horseback adventure. It way exceeded our expectations. The scenery was spectacular, the sights, the smells and the sounds of the bush were a treat for the senses. I travelled with my fiance Doug and his daughter Carly who were both experienced riders. Me not so much but I love to get involved and give it my best shot and surprised to find that apart from slightly bruised sitting bones I wasn't hardly saddle sore after 3 days. Guess my regular yoga practice helped. The horses were delightful and I adored my little brumby, Mountain Girl. Saw lots of wonderful wildlife, including kangaroos, brumbies, dingos, deer, rabbits, emus and lyrebirds. Danielle and Glen were totally professional and felt fully confident with them and took on all their tips and soaked up all the stories. Flora helped out getting all the horses prepped up and taking care of the tail end of the group. Fabulous gourmet lunches and even catered for us being vegetarians. Can't wait to go again.

An excellent experience for any horse lover of all levels of experience; from the beginner to advanced rider. Breathtaking scenery; well cared for horses adapted to the rider's experience; entertaining hosts; great food; comfortable accommodation - what more could you ask for? I can highly recommend this activity for anyone who loves horses and nature in a different surrounding.

I have just returned from a 3 day 4 night trek with Snowy River Horseback Riding adventure and cannot wait to go again. The hosts Glenn and Danielle were great and matched my riding ability perfectly to my horse. Great ride with lots of beautiful scenery, wildlife which also included sighting some brumbies. The food was plentiful and very satisfying. The days riding was usually between 6-7 hours riding and it was great to be able to come back to a modern comfortable homestead each night with great 3 course dinners and the option of a a nice warm spa to finish off the day. Congratulations to Glenn and Danielle for creating such a wonderful experience.
