Great place to stroll through the rainforest, scenery and features abound. The Rainforest Centre is well implemented and the cafe is a little expensive but the service is good and the food very good. Walking tracks are well maintained and guided tours are available.

Just outside Dorrigo, heading back down to the Coast, there is a Sky Walk platform in Dorrigo National Park.This is an excellent area to view a spectacular area. National Park office with great souvenirs and a pleasant bush walk as well. Board walks through the rainforrest of a World Heritage listed area.

In our short visit to Belligen, we visited Dorrigo National Park twice. The first was during the day and we did a couple of walks - very fun! The rain forest was beautiful, it wasn't too crowded and we saw a lot of interesting wildlife. The second visit was at night where we had a great view of the stars from the elevated walkway. There was no one around, the view was great and it was absolutely wonderful to hear the sounds of the rain forest from sunset to dark. If you're in the area, this is a must!

Very well set up. Room for camper vans. Disabled spots. Picnic tables.There is no entry fee but there is a suggested donation of $2 per adult $1 per child.Really good gift shop (we spent way too much)Lovely, helpful staff.Small interactive area with the background information on flora and fauna.My tip. When you go on the Skywalk make sure everything is safely in your pocket/bag. It is very high up and if you drop something you are not getting it back.Great views/photo opportunity.Cafe was busy but we didn't try it.

Easy park to get to from the Pacific highway and Bellingen. The raised viewing platform provided great views of the rain forest. We did the walk to crystal shower falls, which is up hill on the way back. The walk was not problem, a couple of benches are provided. Although please note the leeches! We were all wearing shorts and sandals ( the path is easy walking and defined) and had to knock off two leeches each. Yuk! If you want to make a day of it I suggest trousers and shoes/boots.Fee $2 by donation for the walkway.

What a great spot for a $2 entry the vista from the viewing platform is breath taking and the walks to the falls are also excellent. Will get there earlier next time so I can spend the whole day there

Absolutely stunning national park with a variety of walking tracks for different abilities. The tracks are well looked after and easy to follow. The barbeque facilities at the rainforest centre are free to use and are usually clean. The rainforest centre and some of the trails around it are wheelchair and kid friendly. I would advise wearing long pants, covered in shoes and a long sleeve top when tackling the trails because there are leeches around especially if it has been raining.

Third visit here and third time I've thoroughly enjoyed my experience. Despite rain (and the odd leech...Well, three in fact) this is one of my favourite national parks in the world. Had lunch at the cafe (limited kids menu, but healthy options, which was a nice surprise) and broad selection on offer for adults. The Visitors centre was excellent, and the skywalk alone (when the clouds lifted) was worth the $6 we donated to access the centre. A great walk through the canopy (you can do multiple bushwalks) really made it a great experience - highly recommended, I'm sure we will be back.

I travelled to Dorrigo National park Rainforest centre with my husband and three children. Entry Is by donation, and views from the skywalk were beautiful. It was around lunch time when we arrived, but the only place to eat there was a café that served restaurant style meals that were very pricey! We did the walk to Crystal shower falls, which was amazing, but on the way there it is all downhill, and on the way back up, obviously a very steep climb the whole way, but well worth the walk

Inland from the Pacific Highway via Bellingen along the picturesque Waterfall Way, this small centre offers a well set-up Visitors Centre with both film and static displays on this World Heritage Rainforest environment, guided walks with a National Parks Ranger (or by yourself), and a stunning elevated viewing platform over the rainforest. For those who love information to take home in electronic or book form, artwork, small furniture items crafted from rainforest timbers, and more humble souvenirs, a tastefully stocked shop offers everything any visitor might seek. The small cafe is friendly and reasonably priced; and the mens' and womens' conveniences are spotless. Admittance is by a small donation.

This is a beautiful centre. You enter by donation. Please do so it continues for all to enjoy. There are different levels of walks so all can enjoy.

50kms inland from the Pacific Highway at Raleigh vial the historic town of Bellingen along the picturesqe Waterfall Way the Dorrigo Rain Fforest Centre is a must visit. The National Parks and Wildlife run centre includes good information on what the region is all about. The skywalk over the tree canopy offers amazing views over the rain forest to the coast. Many walks of varying lenghts and to waterfalls along sealed pathways through the forest offer a close up of this magnifcient park. A cafe is available offering good food, coffee and snacks. Living locally we never tire of visiting this beautiful park.

All the walks are great , trees are so tall that in some areas sunshine doesn't seem to seep in, abundant of picture spots for plant lovers, calm waterfalls and nice walks, well mapped and you can choose which walks to do , we travelled with two very young kids and they were tired halfway so we went back but the entire circuit is 6.6 kms-- enjoy

This would be one of the most beautiful rain forests I have ever been to in the whole of Australia. It has lovely water falls one of which you can stand behind. Another plus this park has is the cafe and sky walk wherein there is a walk through the canopy of the forest that ends with a view that one can see the ocean over the forest.The full walk is 5.8km long with some steep parts which would not be suited to someone who has a heart condition. However the tracks are all tarred so they are not as slippery when it rains. Something of note when walking through this forest is to watch out for stinging trees and leeches.

It would be a beautiful walk thought the rainforest (with occasional wildlife encounters) even if you don't know much about botany or ecology or Gondwanaland. But as a botany geek, I was in Nirvana - so many ancient plant families in one spot (Araucariaceae, Atherospemataceae, Lauraceae, aroids, Cunoniaceae, Elaeocarpaceae, Proteaceae, Sapotaceae, lots more). Also good for birdwatchers.
