Always love having a beer here as the quality of the brews are top class especially the pale ale & kolsch. They often have some seasonal and specials which also hit the spot. Downsides are the size of the venue (very small) and the menu is a bit limited especially for the kids but overall a great venue and one we regularly go back to

The beer is always good, including the ginger beer... just what is needed on these hot summer days! The food is outstanding, and reasonably priced as well, including the mouth-watering desserts. It's a pleasure to visit this place every time I go to Sydney.

Fantastic little brewery using just the natural hops water yeast and malt to brew some great flavours. Enthusiastic about beer and giving the customers a great time. I hope I get to go again

A brewery trip for the connoisseur of fine Aussie ales. Whatever your preference they have it, from 'hoppy' ( my preference) to malty, dark, light, lagers or beers. It's an experience for those who like their ale!

Went here for lunch on our trip to manly island, had the gourmet pulled pork burger and chunks (chips) which was very reasonably priced and more importantly delicious. Also had the tasting rack which allows you to try a good sized glass of 5 of their different ales. Was very impressed with the laid back vibe but also the barmans knowledge and advice on the beers to try. Would recommend a visit.

We had intentions of wandering around Manly but only got as far as 4 Pines! A lazy afternoon drinking great beer with a balmy breeze. It's been said by other reviewers but don't expect a view. Bit of a let down but no biggie.The let down was the calamari. Couldn't come at the five spice (?) coating on the rubbery blubber. My advice; go the burger!

These guys know how to brew good beer! A bit smaller than we were expecting & not all that easy to spot. Once we'd climbed the stairs, found a lovely pub layout & very friendly staff. Nice outdoor terrace tho' direct view obstructed by bland buildings. Can't really see the harbour properly. Still, really good beers!

A friend and I tried the tasting racks here recently and I was very pleased! I was able to swap out the porter for another style of beer that I preferred much more, but my friend ordered from another bartender that didn't allow her the same courtesy. I ended up with 5 samplers that I love instead of four, so that was a huge plus for me.We didn't eat here, but the food all around us looked great. If I come back to Manly, I will definitely come again!!

The BEST beer in Manly and it's brewed locally. Always a great crowd and they even offer live music some nights. If you're lucky enough to get a seat outside on the patio, you can enjoy the view of the harbour while you enjoy a PINT and some chips. Definitely a must do in Manly. If you come to Manly during the week off the Ferry, get in for the Brewery Tour at 12:30pm for $25. You get a 30 minute tour and samples of some of there great beer. Make sure to book your spot at the Manly Information Centre.

Terrible service , horrible food ,music to loud why it i will neve know and i will never go back!!!! I would never recommend to friends or family

Love, love, love Manly anyway but this is a fab place to go after one of the picturesque walks. Try the rack of beers, each one is great & you can then have a pint of your fave. The burgers are delicious & just the thing to soak up the beer! It can be difficult getting a table as it is popular. The views are great if you get an outside table but if not the beer is so good it doesn't matter! If we are lucky enough to return this is a must do.

A nice place to sit and kill a couple of hours drinking some beer and taking in the view of Manly...

Awesome beer, curry and pint for $25 on Tuesday and really friendly staff. Rate this place super high and reckon it's worth the trip from Sydney to Manly just to go here. ESB is absolutely amazing.

There are many many reasons to go to Manly all of which revolve around the sun sand surf and .. well the other s word. But now there is a liquid delight that I am fairly sure will be totally untried by the average punter. This is not just another refreshment; not just something else to try. This is a destination reason. A purpose. A raison d'être! Make the trip to the 4 Pines in Manly. Its not far from the Manly ferry terminal. Settle in and then order *drum-roll* a STOUT AFFOGATO. Your ice cream arrives accompanied by a shot of the 4 Pines stout and the key ingredient, a stout distillation. This thick viscous liquid is packed with serious flavours of coffee, chocolate & caramel. Pour the stout shot over the ice cream and then slowly add the distillation to add richness. Enter heaven by the front door. Incidentally the craft brews and the food are equally good reasons to go to the 4 Pines but then ….. never miss out on the stout affogato.

Spent the afternoon in Manly and stopped off at this micro brewery. Sampled the beer which was excellent and the food is excellent value for money. Would recommend this if you are visiting Manly.
