two figs winery

I was taken to this lovely winery in February 2015. Each tastings was explained well. We bought a dozen and were given two extra bottles of our choose. Next time we will take a picnic hamper and sit under the trees and enjoy the vista which is superb.

The wines were good, not great, but good. The Chambourcin was really good. There were not many people there the day we went and the guy working at the bar was friendly. The tasting was free, they had snacks, and we did buy a couple bottles. It was worth the stop.

Having visited on a very busy day, we were greeted by a very welcoming member of staff who apologised for being so busy but would be with us asap. She was true to her world, and although extremely rushed off her feet, we were given the utmost courtesy. The wines were exquisite, and each one was described perfectly. Nothing was too much trouble. After purchasing several bottles, when I changed my mind and wanted to swop one, it was no problem. Patience and courtesy was exceptional, and the wines were even better than on my previous visit a couple of years ago. Thank you

Lovely service, great tasting wines and stunning views. Although a lot of the wine doesn't actually come from there, it makes a lovely afternoon.

Great stop over, the wine was great and well presented. The staff were very knowledgeable and encouraged us to taste a few of their wines!!! Have not heard of these but were very good, once again purchases made and some stunning photos we were on our way.

We visited on a Sunday and enjoyed the views, wines and staff . Well worth visiting for all three. Only problem is that they don't cater other than for cheese plates.

Driving along and saw the sign to this winery. Friends and I decided to take a look. What a lovely surprise. Firstly the views from the winery were unbelievable! It took us 15 minutes just to get inside the winery as there were many photos to take etc. Onto the tasting which was superb with very friendly staff. The wine was very good and again a wonderful surprise. The premises also serves cheese platters with wine should you wish to continue enjoying sitting outside admiring the vista. You are also allowed to bring your own picnic and order wine from their premises at a very reasonable price. definitely one to visit.

My wife and I stopped in a tried some of their wines made on site. We had a nice time trying some of their wines, and talking with the (possible) owner, as he explained their property and what it has to offer. I would recommend popping in, saying hello and buy some great local wine!
