The skipper Lee and decky Ryan, gave our party of 8 a excellent day! Lee got us into big dolphin fish and Ryan worked hard keeping us all in the water. The boat 'early riser' was immaculate and more than enough room for our party. The boys were as excited as us to get us into some big fish and worked hard at it all day. Will definitely be back, highly recommended!!
I found our experience with Bluewater Fishing Charters nothing but positive from the lovely lady on the phone who books you in who tells you everything you want to know about the trip, nothing was to hard they are very accommodating with your needs. I booked my husband and two adult sons on a day out reef fishing not only did they have a fantastic time they brought home quite a catch and even learnt new fishing tips and knots for further fishing trips. I would like to thank Leigh & Ryan and all the team for a fantastic day on the water and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this Charter company to anyone from the Andersens
Spent the day on the Bluewater fishing charter boat with 9 mates and had an absolute ball.Captain Leigh Merriman and Deckhand Ryan Merriman made it a very special day for everyone a hole lot of Fun,Assistance, lots of laugh and plenty of fish All the boys raved about how good the experience was and a lot are serious fishermanThe boat was first class plenty of room for 10 wild blokes. moving around having fun and catching fish.We where out there for 7 hours 20 k off Terrigal and Leigh and Ryan never stopped they couldn't do enough I think they are as made as us Great worh TERRIGAL BLUE WATER FISHING CHARTER "First class" we will be backThanks Leigh and Ryan
The day we went out the sea was a bit lumpy and the fish weren't really biting. But Leigh, the skipper, tried really hard to get us some fish. He tried 3 different spots and we caught just a few fish in each, mainly small. But at the 4th spot we got onto some kingies. At the end of the day we had plenty of fish to take home and plenty of variety - kingies, trag, schnapper, tailor, leather jacket etc. Leigh and his offsider worked really hard all day, moving the boat around looking for reefs, baiting us up if we couldn't do it ourselves, untangling our lines and cleaning up the fish. The charter was supposed to be from 6am to 1.30pm, but we didn't get back until 3pm, chasing fish. Great day out for the experienced or inexperienced fisher.
I've been out with dozens upon dozens of fisher charter operators all around Australia.Terrigal Bluewater Fishing Charters stands head and shoulders above the rest.-They are highly professional. -Work hard to get you fish (harder than any other I've seen).-The vessel is very clean, organised, extremely safe and comfortable with lots of seating, places to get out of the weather, and a great place to relax and enjoy the sea.- The staff are friendly, personable and good for the whole family.- They are incredibly knowledgeable about fishing, developments in tackle and techniques and the nature of fish. Even for a seasoned fisherman like myself, there is always something to learn from them.- They have generations of knowledge fishing Terrigal and surounds, far more than their competition.
Weather wasn't great, seas were pretty big, but still a brilliant day. Eight of us on board, plenty of room and everyone got a fish. Caught live bait straight away where the boat was moored, then took about 2 hours to get out to the fishing grounds and got a few kings straight away. Continued fishing lots of spots, had trouble loosing jigs to barracutas but our captain,Lee, was determined to keep trying different spots until we all had a fish. Not the biggest Kings but great fights on great gear. Everyone completely exhausted after a ten hour day and a few good kings to take home.Great fishing and great value for money, we will be back!
We normally can't catch a damn fish! But from the early morning start we caught 'live' bait, which allowed us to get extra bait, but really gave us time to settle in, have a coffee/tea, get accustomed to the boat, the captain and the sea! We then headed out to the first 'mark'! Plenty of room on board for our group of 7! Straight away we started catching fish, some keepers and some that were released... after a big kiss? From there we cruised to several marks, each with a different species of fish and various techniques! The outer mark was approx. 20km offshore- we could just see land. We always felt safe, and excited about the fishing! A great, fun, exciting trip. And We all CAUGHT fish!
