A wonderful heritage listed Community Hall in the village of Tyalgum NSW. Statuesque and elegant, situated in the village's main street, it commands a view surrounded by the iconic Caldera and world heritage listed Mt Warning/Wollumbin. A vista not too many other halls could claim! Previously home to dances, balls and many other functions, the hall now serves as the driving force to unite a village community, share a role as evacuation centre in times of need as well as a drawcard for international and local entertainment acts aplenty.The wonderful volunteers work hard to preserve this precious community asset partnered by the village, school and an outside event manager, to ensure this grand old lady enjoys vigour anew well into her 2nd century and beyond!Drop into this wonderful village to explore the quaint main street and hall precinct for a walk back in time. If the door to the hall is open, step inside with a committee member or volunteer and behold the grand timber balcony, the world-renowned acoustics, the welcoming atmosphere and the Digger's room open for Anzac Day and other special occasions.Remember this grand old hall now over 100 years young is always watching and waiting for the next chance to shine to infinity and beyond!
