Visited for a meal on a quiet Sunday night. The bistro has a good range of meals but the "cooking to requirements" was not achieved. The bistro does not provide EFTPOS, this is not acceptable in 2014. The place could do with an overhaul, a new building will not solve internal deficiencies. Bar service was average.

Steaks from here tasted great and were cooked to perfection. The veggies were standard the inside could do with a bit of a makeover other than that all good.

i really liked it its a nice place to stay and visit and get food i like the food there but the service was great

Everyone was happy and friendly and the club was value for money, the bistro had a large menu selection and drinks were not overpriced.

Club Windang was recommended by the receptionist at Windang Tourist Park. It's an easy walk and the meals are terrific value , with Asian style meals on Monday and Tuesday nights to supplement the bistro menu. Laid back, easy going, merlot at bargain price at the bar. Highly recommended for good value in a no-frills but comfortable setting.

We couldn't believe our eyes when our meals arrived. We received an extremely generous serving. Schnitzels were huge, as were the vegetables and gravy toppings all for under $10.00 per head. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We all enjoyed our meals and will definitely return when next visiting the Wollongong area.

My young daughter attended a birthday party at Little Groovers Disco at Club Windang. The party was excellent. However, while I was there I purchased a meal at the club's bistro. I ordered chicken satay sticks and fried rice, expecting to receive a thai-style meal. Instead, I was thoroughly disappointed when my chicken satay sticks were served to me because they were coated in a batter of some kind and had been deep-fried. I have never seen chicken satay sticks prepared like this, and they tasted worse than they looked... and believe me, they looked awful. The fried rice was not much better. I left hungry because I did not want to eat the food.

The meals are excellent and the entertainment is great. A nice little club to visit. Overlooking lake Illawarra. What a great view.

Club Windang is a bowling club which boasts : 3 bowling greens, an outdoor section for groups or young people (children), a bar that caters for all different types of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks, a lounge room, a large function room where you can have weddings or parties, a snack bar which will cater for most kinds of meals (which are rather cheep), plenty of tables and chairs to enjoy a quiet beer, a sports room with plenty of TV's that are tuned into the races, a TAB and keno, mens and ladies washrooms.Club Windang is just north of Windang Bridge and about twenty minutes drive south of Wollongong
