I received one of Ashleigh painting as a gift and I love it.His painting are various styles so fit most of your décorKate has wonderful taste in clothing selections Ashleigh and Kate are always very welcoming.
The beautiful owners couldn't do enough for us. We loved their clothes and bought a few items - all Italian made silk at very reasonable prices. We had two children with us (9 and 12) and the owners gave them a beautiful little bird magnet each, plus gave them some offcuts of canvas to do drawings on while we were shopping. The art is all very lovely too.
Loved meeting the artist (Ashleigh Manley) and his wife at this new little art gallery and homewares shop next to Peppers Resort. I loved the watercolour and acrylic artworks, very vibrant and an assortment of landscapes and abstract works. It was funny because I asked the gentleman working there who the artist is and he said "me". Was really privileged to meet the artist! Apparently he's been painting for approx 40+ years and does exhibitions in Australia and globally. He does his own framing too which is great if you preferred a different frame on any works. I also checked out the homewares and clothing section and I must say, my wife would've nearly died in here with the unique pieces on offer ranging from women's wear from Italy, handmade scarves from Ethiopia and some jewellery from Spain. I decided to buy my wife a hand poured candle from Melbourne and a waxed cotton/sterling silver bracelet from Spain! She loved it!Definitely worth a visit if you are staying in Hervey Bay. You can also easily grab a coffee or some lunch from the Salt cafe next door if you wanted to as well. Will tell my friends about this little gem of a shop!
I found this shop while staying at the Peppers hotel almost next door. Great little shop with lots to look at. Large original art, prints, gifts, jewelry and clothes. Everything is so gorgeous and feels beachy. The managers (owners?) seem really friendly and apparently the artist lives nearby and does work in the shop as well. Definitely worth stopping in and having a look around.
