When you're next anywhere on the Sunshine Coast Queensland, Australia, make sure to do yourself a favour and visit the MARCOOLA BAKERY on David Low Way Marcoola. The food here is absolutely DELICIOUS and the choice is generous.This place is neat and tidy and clean as a whistle. Fabulous Pies, Pastries, Sandwiches and Rolls.We have taken years to stumble upon this great find.Directly opposite the Ramada Hotel at Marcoola Beach.

very quiet when we went and had whole place to ourselves.Excellent for long walks, jogging or just lazing about.

We live at Marcoola ... half of the time in our house and half of the time at the local beach.Look north to Point Arkwright, look south to Mudjimba, 8 klms of straight golden sand. On a normal day, you may see, maybe 30 people on the beach. When the tides are right, I ride my bike up and down the beach just taking in the beauty of this part of the world. The surf club and coffee shops, chippy and local general store are just over the dunes, there is a great playground for the kids, and the best part of all, everyone who lives in this pocket of paradise are the friendliest people you will ever find anywhere.

Family and pet friendly. Clean and beautiful. Great facilities and close to all amentities. Life guards available.

Great beach but a few bluebottles washed up when we were there.The beaches are patrolled up to 4 pm during the day and the water was divine to swim in

Our favourite Sunny Coast beach. Patrolled but not crowded like the better known beaches. Hidden behind the Marcoola accommodation and foreshore trees. Also good to have a bike track s the way from here to Twin Waters and north as well. The trees provide a lovely cool canopy for leisurely walks.

Uncrowded, clean, no highrise, patrolled by surf life savers. Very accessible paths to beach, easy parking, People with dogs follow the rules and are considerate.

Great stretch of beach, clean, not crowded and a lot of fun!Shell collecting at low tide and lots of pumice stone and cuttlefish to be found.

We spent a week with the family which included son,daughter-in-law and two grandchildren and our dog, Rusty. The house was perfect for our needs and loved the pool and back deck where we spent heaps of time. Only a very short walk to the Surf Club and beach.

Excellent location - close to beach - superb for those that seek a quiet environment close to the beach.

The beach is gorgeous and it is wonderful that the lifequards are always there. Great service is provided for anyone who needs a ride to the beach from Atlantis Marcoola as Jason drove up to our building and then returned me on his RHINO beach jeep - thanks Jason!!

I really wanted to give this a poor rating because it's 3 mins walk from my house and it's the most amazing beach today was Saturday and it was a scorching hot day... And we went for a quick dip there and we were the only ppl there all the other beaches would have been packed this beach is gorgeous... But stay away lol it's my beach ahhaah

We stayed at the Marcoola Beach Resort had a wonderful time. Staff pleasant and location right on the beach with no roads to cross. Beach wonderful sands and fully patrolled.

What a great beach we walked for miles nice soft sand .Lots of shells to collect nice spot not to crowded Great for a swim

Lovely beach. Less crowded than that ones down the road. Friendly lifeguards who were happy to answer my questions about the jellyfish in the area.
