dampier port

I had a great time staying in and working at Dampier. People are great. Go for a swim. Play some sport.

Very picturesque place. Water was as calm as a millpond. Lots of boats in the water. Nice swimming beaches. Yacht club restaurant makes the best fish n chips. Great twilight photographic opportunities. Look for Sam's Island, a unique gift to the port and the iconic Red Dog statue. Must see place to visit on your trip

All the iron ore and cargo ships uload here they also have yacht club here you will often see up to 13 ships waiting in the harbour worth a visit
