I don't write reviews but I had such a nice time that I thought I would stop and let you know about Lucky last cast. My husband and I were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and I wanted to do something special for him. He loves fishing so I looked around to see what was available. We had never been to Jurien Bay before but I had heard the fishing was awesome. I contacted Lucky last cast to arrange a trip. I decided to book the boat out for just the two of us. They arranged a delicious breakfast and lunch for the trip. They took us out and we found plenty of fish. We had a great time and caught our limits. The weather was fabulous. The ocean was great. Everything worked together to make a beautiful day. When it was over, they cleaned up our fish and prepared it for travel. The next day we headed home. Our fish made it home safely. Thanks for a fantastic day to the Lucky last cast crew and to hear my husband talk, we will be returning next year.

I travel with my husband and teenage son and daughter. We had come to Australia to see what it had to offer after hearing all about this wonderful land.After arriving at the beginning of April and buying a fishing magazine for my husband in a shop we stumbled across an article about a fishing charter located in a place called Jurien Bay. We had never heard of this place before, but the article spoke very highly of the charter. There was a massive right up, from memory about 8 pages. As our family loves fishing we decided to try out this charter and see if it was all the article said it would be. One of the best around. We found their phone number and gave them a call. The lady on the phone was very polite and told us everything we needed to know. The way she spoke she was like me she loves fishing! She told us because there was the 4 of us going out then she would make it a day for just our family. Wow! Have been on other charters in the past where you are all squashed in like sardines. Not with this charter we simply couldn't believe itWell all I can say is it is one of the best charters we have ever been on. From turning up in the morning to a freshly cooked breakfast, getting the run down of the boat and all safety precautions in case something was to go wrong (never have I been on a charter before where they have done this so a plus for safety first) then we were on our way out of the harbor.The skipper was awesome and the decky spoke to us on the way to our first fishing spot explaining how to use all the gear that was supplied to how to putting on fresh bait.On arriving to our first spot the sun was up and our lines hit the water. Wow all I could yell was I am on yay! Then my son yelled out too that he was on. After a while I landed a 10 kilo mulloway wow my back ached and arms ached for ages afterwards because of the fight! Finally a short while after my son also landed a massive mulloway. My daughter and husband had reeled in their lines already just to watch us!Onto the next spot, and hubby landed a 11 kilo pink snapper he was rapt. My daughter still hadnt caught anything but I think this was because she was just so stuck in the moment of us bringing in massive fish. We had never caught big fish like this before so it was a first for us. Onto the next spot and all 4 of us where on. My daughter landed a dhui and a baldie all on the same line, Hubby caught an undersized dhui, my son caught a baldie which was just undersized and I caught the fish of the day which was a 12 kilo dhui.These where just some of the fish we caught on this awesome day.On the way back to the Barbour lunch was served and we helped ourselves to what we wanted. Drinks where also supplied as well as sunscreen.All in al all I can say is it was so worth picking up that magazine and heading up to Jurien Bay to go on this great charter. People say Australians are rude and arrogant. I found the skipper and deckie to be friendly and upbeat oh and extremely funny. I would highly recommend this charter on board Lucky last cast. You will get exceptional service and you only have to read their testimonial book on board from other customers to know it was not just a once off. Oh and a small note here. When we got home that afternoon I looked at their reviews on their website and all of the reviews on there are actually taken straight from their book. There was not one review on the site that wasnt in their book. Well done guys we hope to come back to the land down under again, and will defiantly come back out with you, couldn't have asked for anymore

What a great day! Loads of fish caught by all and a good variety of top eating species - dhufish, pinky's, bald chin, etc. Also a really fun day out on the water with some friendly whales, dolphins and the odd shark stopping by to say hello. Highly recommend lucky last cast to anyone whatever the experience level. Thanks for a fantastic day.

What a great day out on the ocean! We met at the harbour at 415am, I've never been on a charter this early but thinks it great to make the most of the morning and watch the sunrise while we are at it. It's get a bit chilly so I suggest bringing a jacket ..if your lucky David will throw a blanket over you while u have a quick nap :) David and Mika know the area really well so if there's not much fish in one spot you can guarantee to find some somewhere.. We caught dhufish, pink snapper, black butt, yellow tail king fish, huge sambo, mulloway and many more I can't remember their names! You get breaky and lunch and water so all you need it alcohol if u feel like having a drink! Arrive back at 2/3pm so still have time to chillOut in the arvo or get home to cook up the fish youve caught . The crew make sure you have a comfy ride the whole time so definitely worth it! Would recommend this to anyone visiting the coastal town of Jurien Bay!

Value for money, caught heaps of fish (Mulloway, Schnapper, Dhufish & Baldchin Groper). Had much more luck than on some of the many other fishing charters I have been on. Good quality bait and some good fishing tips from the guys. Breakfast and lunch provided. Thanks to Dave, Mick and Kate. Would definitely recommend to others wanting to go out on a charter in Jurien Bay.

Our charter with Lucky last cast was fantastic. They not only supplied a great day out fishing, where my hubby Dan caught his first ever fish! They also supplied great food, and great company. Dave, Kate & Micka are very friendly, always ready to help and give us the best time!I would fully recommend Lucky Last Cast to everyone - not too far from Perth, and a great time to be had by all!! We'll be going back again & again!!!
