Lovely, often shady outdoorsy area in Samborandon. Wide variety of animals and a fun outing for kids and friends a like.
I love parque historico because it takes you away from the noise and traffic of Guayaquil and into this zoo-like + historical tourist park. It's a beautiful, laid back way to spend the morning or afternoon. It's also great because at the end of the walk through the animal exhibits and historical part, there are food vendors that sell fruit salads and typical plantain and corn-based foods/snacks that are delicious and inexpensive. It's definitely worth a visit (and it's free!)
Perfect place to take the family and the best part is that its free. The grounds are very well kept and there is a nice selection of animals. We got to see a couple dressed up in colonial outfits and the kids were very excited about that.
Beautiful, awesome place to visit, by yourself with a special one or with your kids, nature and colony style, simply amazed
Parque Historico is a very nice place to go. you don't feel in a city anymore and you can enjoy the animals, the nature and a bit of made up history. but all for free. nice day trip
Wonderful place to visit and highly reccommended for all visiting Guayaquil The place is kept in great shape with the beautiful grounds immaculate. Walking around seeing nature in a pristine setting was very enjoyable.
Historical Park of Guayaquil 6 acres appx. where the old providence of Guayas is demostrated in three zone. Wildlife,Urban Architecture and country living. its a most pleasant Park, walk thru Tropical forrest,Mangroove. A very adventures tour highly reccomended.
I enjoy a lot this tour, the guide was really proud of what they have and had an amazing knowledge of his country and its potential, I also have to say that everything is free, the park's admission and the tour, so why not? you will get to know more about their culture, history, fauna and flora; at the end you will have the feeling that you didn't have to travel all around, because you found most of it there!
The service is excellent and the food quality is great. We truly enjoyed the seafood grill and red snapper fish plates which were quite delicious.
