The beach is just minutes away from Manta, and while it is close to the city, it feels so far away. It is a very peaceful place. Watching the kite surfers is such a relaxing experience. This beach also has a kitesurfing school in case you are in the mood of learning.There are several options for eating, from fast food and street vendors, to sit down service.This is from now on my favourite beach in Ecuador. Highly recommended.

This is a very nice and clean beach to spend some time relaxing. We were on a cruise ship and only had a short time. I was very impressed by the whole area. and wished we had more time. We will just have to come back.

take your family here. Best place to do kitesurfing. Good food in basic restaurants. Not too many facilities and wc. Nice adventure experience.

A beautiful beach to enjoy close to Manta. Santa Marianita (not Marinita) offers some of the best seafood too. There's a string of bamboo/grass hut restaurants. From Manta, go via a taxi, or for $1.00 each, a camioneta.

We loved our day at this beach. It was just the right amount of shared space on the beach. We found it very enjoyable. We loved the outdoor options for eating, also.

Love love love it! Kitesurfing is AMAZING. Please don't overpay if you buy there as that would ruin my retirement plans. This drives the prices up and will make it more difficult when I buy there in a couple years. Don't pay more than $60 per sq/meter of prime land on the beach and not more than $40 per sq/ft for new custom construction.

Leave all your worries and enjoy the playa Santa Marianita. Chill at the beach, swim in the perfect tempered water, take long quiet beach walks, enjoy a cheap meal with fresh sea food and relax in the hammock and read that book you wanted to read for so long. Stay longer than you planned. Go in to manta if you crave more people and party.

Vendors don't bother you and you can relax and enjoy the fun waves! The restaurant serves delicious food and it is safe. My wife was nervous about getting sick because it is a beachside restaurant but it turned out to be our favorite spot!!!

Our 2014 family vacation included a trip to Santa Marianita Beach. The local restaurants on the beach serve some of the best seafood in the area.

A great place!!! Clean, paceful, amazing. There you could find fun, relax, good food and frinedly people. This place is close to Manta, so yo can visit in one day and have a good moment. If you are there early in the mornig you should walk to the north top of the beach and discover the best, a little beach behind the rocks!!!

If you want a beach almost to yourself or kite surf, go during the week. Weekends have more people but great places for sun, surf, beer and seafood. Very natural which is what Ecuador is all about.

If you get the chance to stay at The Donkey Den Hostel you will be right across the street from the Santa Marinita Beach/Playa. Certain times of the year the sky is full of kit surfers and also there is a kit surfing school located next to The Donkey Den Hostel.

Es un lugar estupendo para ir con la familia, lejos de las copadas playas de la ciudad. Un sitio de relax para olvidarse de todo.

De las playas mas agradables de Manta, con el mejor ambiente para degustar de una bebida y de un buen atardecer.. y sin lugar a dudas el mejor sitio para hacer Kitesurf!!
