And what else would you do in Cali?It's just a common zoo, with nothing really special apart from the new installation about Australia and dry lands. Hurry up, before it gets destroyed!

Protected animals and endangered species under the eye of good Samaritans at the Cali Zoo. Well kept, clean and the staff is very helpful and happy to see us there. Thank you. We will keep coming and recommend it to everyone ;). Good Job

Wonderful to go with the kids. It is safe and has lots of interesting places to see. Food is not goos, they only offer junk food.

The zoo has its attractions in the landscaping and plants and flowers, which is a nice home for the animals. The history of the native living in their natural environment is very interesting. You can observe various animals such as monkeys, tigers, zebra's, ostriches, reptiles, etc. In one part of the zoo you can observe various aquariums with an exebition of unique fishes. The butterfly-farm is what most kept my attention. I loved the view but also the visit of butterflies on my hand. The river flowing nearby is also an attraction and the sound is peaceful. It is not a big zoo, but worthwhile visiting.

Beautiful park and zoo. Very well kept. Best in latin america. With native species. Plus the odd lion, bear and zebra. Educational. Its a foundation with a preservation and research aim. Better to go during the week. Less crowds.

The zoo is a must visit!!They have an aquarium, a reptile area lots of different types of monkeys, Crocodiles bears Lions tigers a White Tiger that i thought was amazing never ever seen one in real life, anaconda again never seen one in person, they have a Butterfly sanctuary, lots of types of birds. They also have an Australian area with kangaroos which i thought was prety cool. The food area is ok but like any other zoo food is over priced as a traveller its better to take your own sandwiches/food, there are lots of sitting areas you can chill, water ice creams are not too expensive, as an overall i recommend this zoo its a nice day out.

Nice shady zoo with easy viewing of the animals. The big birds and big cats were impressive and you can see the care is good. I've read there have been improvements and you can see they are continuing the work. Animal spaces are very, very small though.

The zoo is one of the better zoo's you will see they have a lot of interesting animals and some are even walking around near you!

I heard from family members that Cali Zoo changed for the better but I didn't expect it to be as good as it was. From the entrance price, (20.000 Col incl. a meal inside) to the animals & the layout of the zoo, everything was well looked after & set up. Definitely worth going back :)

Lovely zoo with plenty of animals, including the tropical ones of course. Very nice for kids. Lots of birds, butterflies, primates, and other big animals. Also a lovely aquarium.

The Cali Zoo, is clean, well organized, and has a decent collection of animals from all over the globe. They have a bird collection that is amazing..so beautiful and colorful. The butterfly house was an unexpected surprise as well. Enjoy going there every time we have the chance.

Never saw a zoo before with a butterfly house. Magical in itself. I disliked nothing. Is my 50 characters used up?

We first checked their website on what to see because we didn't have any idea what to see in the zoo. What we actually saw compared to what was on their website was so much more.We spent a total of 3 hours at the zoo but somehow this was not enough. The zoo is well laid-out, beautifully landscaped and the enclosures were big. The animals were active most of the time unlike in most other zoos where the animals are lethergic. We especially liked seeing the big cats, e.g., lions, jaguars, tigers, pumas. There were also many different kinds of primates.Definitely worth a visit!

It is a pleasure and an honor for my city to have a zoo of this quality. Seeing a lot of animals breed in captivity is a huge sign. It is sad to see people throwing rocks at the animals such as the lions. This is something that has to stop. One lioness was killed that way. Hopefully no more harm is done by ignorant visitors.The zoo has been remodeled and it gets better every day.

The Cali zoo is well organized and the animals look healthy. Nice way to spend the afternoon. definitely recommend.
