We enjoyed taking the ski lift up the mountain. There is not anything worth doing at the top like eating or shopping, but the view is spectacular. The ride is cheap and very fun.
If you will have plan to visit Campos do Jordão, don't forget the visit to Morro do Elefante. There you will have one idea of this beautiful "swiss" city looking over and seeing the skyline.
You cannot buy tickets from the high of mountain, so you must be in the base to go upwards. Theres nothing more to see, but its cool anyway.
Very good to have a view of Campos do Jordão, is a high mountain to have a 180 degrees of view. The restaurante is closed, but you can find few stores.
The place is very nice and the view is amazing! There are handmade crafts fair with items made by the local community and there are also musicians on weekends. A very interesting place to go to while in Campos do Jordao.
It's not too far to drive. But as usual, when you get to the car park,"local" people expect you to let them "watch" you car and you have to give them tips when you come back. (bear in mind this is very typical in Brazil)The view from the place is quite nice, you can see the everything from up there.
This used to be a pretty nice spot, with a good restaurant. Now it´s just ok.... The view of the city is nice. It might be worth visiting for your frist time in the city.
Very difficult to park, the view is not very good and there is a lot of people trying to sell everhing. I really did not like it
We strolled the village, did the teleferic ride, admired the view and took the ride back down. A nice way to see the town.
Not your average climb, literally straight up with lots of rotten granite. You need both hands to assist. Take water. Not for people with heart conditions. Take water with you.
We could not ride the Teleferico to the Wall, first because of the lines and afterwards because it was closed. We went by car and it was disappointing. The place is not well kept and did not cause a good impression on us.
It may not compare at all well with some of the world 's more spectacular cable rides such as the one down in Rio de Janeiro or Cape Town's Table Mountain Cable car, but the Morro lift (open ski-type) at least gives the traveller a spectacular view over what remains to me one of the most surprising outings during all my travels. Even walking the width and breadth of CAMPOS DO JORDAõ during an event such as as the FESTIVAL de INVERNO, one would never realise how extraordinary this small jewel in the middle of nowhere really is! My sincere thanks to Itana Medrado Summers of Saõ Paulo who made this possible.
that's what my son told us when we were there...everything seems to be abandoned, besides the view, everything there was abandoned and poorly maintainedall the glamour only comes in the winter with the sponsors and the money of the tourists. The low season is definitely not a good time to visit the city.
It holds a terrific view to city's downtown but you have just a few options of food and beverages up there. The ride plus this view, for sure, is a must if you are in Campos do Jordao.
Amazing view from Campos do Jordao west downtown. It shoud have more local infrastructure to attract people on it.
