Beach park is a very fun water park set within the beautiful white sandy beaches of aquiraz. The location is fantastic and its one of the few popular beaches where you feel safe although there is a steep price to pay. You need to pay for EVERYTHING. All of the prices are unreasonable. 180 reais for the water park tickets? Why? The park has a few fun slides but nothing to warrant such hefty prices... Food is even worse. Its very good quality but boy do you have to pay for it... 25 reais for a caipirinha?!?The toilets were shocking... Dirty and no proper lighting. Disabled facilities are none existent... Definitely expect more for the prices... Overall it was a fun day but be prepared to spend a lot of money
After the park visit we stoped by the tables at the beach to have lunch. The place is great but the music was so loud that we gave up to try the caipirinhas. We appreciate listening to the sea sound. Why would they like such a noisy music? We couldn't even talk to people.
On our most recently trip to Fortaleza we went to Beach Park and spent the day in one of their nice Cabanas, inside the water park. If you want to improve your experience, if you value some privacy and prefer to be served instead of getting on a line... That's what you should get. Specially with a large family with kids it's very good value for money. Since the park is by the beach you can get your ticket, go inside the park and later go to the beach and come back to the park (they give you a return card). The tuna sandwich was great (light, tasteful and good size). My 4 years old had a great time on several of the park swimming pools.
The Beach Park is indeed a wonderful place. I don`t agree that maintenance is poor, did not saw a single problem at the park, not even poorly maintained restrooms. All the attractions are great fun, the only problem sometimes, are the stairs to get to the top... :-). But the MAIN problem on the park are the outrageous prices for EVERYTHING. From a soda to a lousy burger. Never seen anything like that anywhere in brasil or the world. R$ 9 (about US4) for a soda!?? R$ 30 (US15) for burger and fries?? Come on!!! My kids (5 & 1.5) had great fun despite the oldest could not get into several attractions due to his hight. Minimum for almos attractions is 1.10m.
The park is wonderful, all very well maintained, the view is exceptional, the staff are super attentive, toys in perfect condition. Thus far my review would be 5 stars. But then i will explain why it is only two. 1. PRICE - Everything is extremely expensive, but this in itself would not be a factor that alone justifies. 2- NO FOUNTAINS - the park has no one place for drinking fresh water, if you want to take water will have to buy for me this is a major flaw besides a huge disrespect. 3- crab OLD - to complete my negative experiences, I was eating at a crab restaurant, which was the old meat with past and made me sick. The principle would give a star but the park is very good. despite the disrespect with customers
The park is certainly fun for all ages. The main problem is the crowd. It is a vision from hell.Durings weekends, you have to wait for one hour to go in any attraction. My suggestion: visit the park during weekdays, except Wednesday when it is closed. The food and snacks are expensive and terrible, so be prepared. After the park, you can enjoy a beautiful beach just in front of it.
I can probably say this is the best park in Brazil. The only one worth of going. Been there twice and had a blast with wife and kid. Fun for all ages.
We arrived sunday afternoon right on time to catch people leaving the park.It was a vision from hell !Don't go if you don't like musica baiana, axé and so on.Park and hotels are expensive and do not meet the price.Beaches are wonderful and nature as well.Furthermore you must buy the park's snacks, expensive and boring food.
My wife, my 6 yo daughter and I went to Beach Park in September, 2014 and we had a very good experience there. The weather was wonderful, with windy days, no rain, and temperatures ranging between 25C and 35C.The landscapes are great, and from the higher attractions, like Insano, Arrepius and Ramubrinká, you can see the huge blue ocean touching the park, with his white sands and palm trees, and the turbines from the not so far wind power plant. As you arrive you'll notice that Beach Park really worries that someone could drown, because there are lifeguards everywhere in abundance, and you can find at least one in each attraction. But, there's not guards in the park to intervene in case someone starts a fight. The park has a great variety of attractions, and a person's height is the criteria used to know if you can or cannot play in a attraction. If you're going with children, I would suggest you to check the maximum and minimum heights required in each attraction. If your children are below 1m20 they won't be able to play in most attractions.Unhappily, it has some points requiring attention. The maintenance is a point that they need to improve. In some attractions, there are toys out of work, like some water pistols in the Circus. The Circus is made with a special kind of floor, that avoids fractures in case of falls, but this floor is presenting many erosion areas. Also, the floor of some pools, like Maremoto for example, are really dirt, and in some areas you can see moss detaching from the grouts. In some pools, like Maremoto, you feel the sharp edges of the tiles, because there's no more grouts, and in my case I got a cut in my knee in the pool of Ramubrinká, when I was thrown from a tube when it reached the water, and I hit my knee in the pool's floor. No problem with being thrown from the tube, it was really cool.Talking to some friends that went to Beach Park in 2013, they said that the some toys that I complained about, were out of service during their visit too, one year ago, so this lack of maintenance that I found was not a temporary situation. The other negative point is that in Beach Park everything is expensive, specially the food and the souvenirs (shirts, squeeze, plush toys, ...). A simple hot dog is the cheapest food you can buy, and it costs around 5 dollars.
I was initially not that keen to go here as I thought it was mostly intended for kids, and seemed expensive (probably about £50 each or more with little "extras" such as a towel and a locker, which of course are not really extras). However, I have to say some of the "rides" were truly thrilling. In particular I would recommend the "Insano" ride, if you are brave, a 14-story tower with a near vertical water-chute. There are many others nearly as good, often involving steep and spiralling tubes, and it occurred to me it must be like being swept down a plug-hole or similar! As a whole, the park has been very well and imaginatively executed. It is not bad value at all per ride, if you go on enough, which you will probably want to. We went on at least 20 in one afternoon, including repeats. Another positive is that it must be the most healthy theme-park I have been to, as there is a great deal of stair-climbing involved to get to the top of most rides, so it is very good exercise in the fresh sea-air; however, if you are not up to that you will have a problem. I felt quite exhausted towards the end, but pleased. There is also a highly-developed beach-front area with restaurant and other facilities between the water-park and sea, and you pass through this before paying to enter the park. Some might criticise the whole development, including the park, beach-front and huge hotel complex, as having spoiled a previously untouched natural area, but the beach-front in particular adds security and other facilities which would be especially useful to families. These would otherwise be lacking in such a wild seashore area, of which there are certainly plenty more fabulous examples in the region. Again, the beach-front is attractively and well-planned, although I can't say necessarily say the same for other parts of the complex, including the hotel and town-development behind.
Fun for every one in the family. We really didn't know that we were going to spend all day at the park. Lots to do!!
I just have good things to talk about that water park. First, there is attractions for all ages. Kids, teens, adults, and elders will enjoy. Second, You can enjoy the beach and the water Park, the park is right in front of the beach and you can get inside the park and out whenever you want, the beach like all beaches in Fortaleza are very good, with warm water and white sand. Third, if you like radical stuffs you will definitely enjoy this place.I tried the big Slide 5 times and I felt the same emotion in all of them! It is so big and you fell in only 3 seconds! Forth, If you go to Fortaleza you must go to beach Park to understand how good that park is and you will see that just can write good reviews about that place. The price is around R$140 in Dollar $60. Enjoy it!
Prefer weekdays, it's emptier than saturday or sunday. The park is very good and I felt very secure there. I thought expensive, tickets can vary from 120 to 170 Reais. Food there is also expensive and not good.Place for kids and adults to have some fun!
One day in that park is enough, but with the 3 days pass you can enjoy it later in the afternoon after an excursion Food pretty expensive but quality ok for that kind of place
Amazing! Don't miss that with your family! Of course if you are from north america you probably had something better. But the Beach park is really close to what you know and really good! It fun for all family!
