A great beach for the kiddos. Warm, calm water during low tide. Some gentle waves at high tide. The clincher were the tide pools that appeared at low tide. The kids could explore and see crabs, sand dollars, fish, and other sea life. Just be careful of the sharp spines of the sea urchins hiding between the rocks!

Amazing!!!!!! I recommend this place for those who wanna relax and be in touch with nature.Stunning view, warm beach :)

I love the beach activities on Brazilian Beaches. Always a barzinho or 2 where one can have a beer or a caipirinha with some mandioquinha (as a yummy snack)

Nice lounges and beautiful people. Try to avoid places with plastic chairs. There are nice beach clubs with sophiscated service and ambiance.

Lovely beach. we were in May (low season) and had a superb beach with only few Brazilians. Prices at the restaurants were reasonable and the food (Bahian dishes like Mocueca de Peixe or bobo de camarao) was delicious.

You can say Pitinga Beach is part of paradise.With the landscapes, the music, the bars makes a special atmosphere.Definitely worth the long walk fro Mcuge beach. Or you can take a minibus to a very close point if you're not a big fan of waling along amazing tropical beaches!

The best place to stay close to Arraial d'Ajuda,...View is fantastic, sea is good with interesting waves when there is wind and there are some very good "Barracas"

Good beach, near Arraial d'Ajuda. You can choose the best spot to stay. I recomend the Pitinga Mar, good food and good service right next to the beach. They have a good structure for children too.

If you are in this beach, walk your way to Flor de Sal "barraca" its a great beach barraca with great service, staff and food! is the last barraca on Pitingas beach.

Beware of bars wanting minimal consumption ..u can choose others without it .nice beach specially on low tide . on your way back u might b asked for 3 real each for bus ride back to town . if u have a car go with it.

clean, warm water...few waves, especially when tide is low. Great soft sand beach for morning and sunset strolls. Fun to watch vendors walking by offering everything from cooked corn on the cob to horseback rides. Lots of beachfront cafes for music, snacks.

La playa es muy linda con una escenografia de fondo que muestra acantilados mezclados con vegetación, aconsejo a ir temprano por la mañana ya que a las 15hs cierran los paradores.

Para quem gosta de uma praia paradisíaca, sem muita "muvuca" Pitinga é o lugar perfeito, entretanto, se estiver hospedado em Porto Seguro e quer fazer essa aventura de carro, vá bem cedo para evitar a fila da balsa e conseguir estacionamento em Pitinga, algo bem difícil.

A praia é muito bonita cercada de verde, o banho excelente , o atendimento nas barracas muito bom, com som ao vivo, excelente.

A praia da Pitinga é a praia mais descolada de Arraial, e principalmente, longe da muvuca de Mucugê. Possui as melhores barracas de praia. A última barraca, chamada Flor do Sal, tem bom atendimento e ótimos preços, representando um custo benefício espetacular.
