卡斯特罗教堂

这座大教堂雄踞于Castro市镇广场,黄色和蓝色外面装饰非常醒目。一进入教堂,里面的木头雕刻令人叹为观止-实际上都是木头做的,表现出建筑技艺精湛,而且直到今天都还保存完好。非常值得一看。

这是最大的教堂之一,完全重建了,外面是亮黄色,里面是木制的,给人安详的感觉,这是岛上最棒的教堂之一,如果你去卡斯特罗,一定不要错过这里。

这座教堂外观漂亮,里面很华丽!如果你只能去奇洛埃岛岛上一座教堂,那就是这座了。修复的很棒,里外都很漂亮。太棒了!如果可以的话,带上全景照相机。

在整个智鲁岛上有很多木质教堂,到处都是。他们当中有16座被联合国教科文组织公布为人类遗产。虽然卡斯特罗是智鲁岛“首都”,是一个非常有趣的城市,教堂本身相比阿奇欧教堂和Quinchao教堂而言,让人有些失望,因为前者更漂亮......

教堂现在正在重新刷漆,不过在我们看来颜色还挺怪的,亮黄,紫色,粉色,还有一种黄色和红色,不过看起来还可以。教堂内部很安静,空间很大,都是木制结构,巨大的圆柱支撑着这个欧洲哥特式的教堂,很宏伟壮观。

Kind of impressive if you've never seen and Old church build of only wood. must visit if you are in the Island

We've all had our share of churches but this is different. It is one of the 16 UNESCO churches here Chiloe and it is definitely worth a visit. The carpenters used ship-building techniques and used wood everywhere. Don't be put off by the bright exterior - definitely go inside! They usually also have a little handicraft market next to church so don't miss that.

Very special, being build of wood completely. We can on a sunday forenoon, during service. Nice experience and really nice ambience. Pastor gave a great impression, smilingto everyone, saying goodbye and just being so 'down-to-earth-' and easygoing.

The day we visited this marvelous totally wooden construction was Christmas day during the service and that was the best we could do during our short visit at Castro.

The church on the outside looks pretty average, covered in yellow and purple metal sheets. Inside its a woodworking wonder.

The church is unique in that its interior is wood, and it features some lovely wooden sculptures. The most notable for me was of Michael, brandishing a sword and crushing a demon.

The wood work in this church is one of a kind, even for a church on Chiloe , lots of small interesting details.

High touch and portentous church made of local wood. Amazing space to a good spiritual journey. It is not from the Chiloe tradition school which built theses famous places spread around the isles but definitely is the most prodigious.

Impressive cultural wooden church, one of the biggest ones on the island. Very colourful outside, rather coarse wooden sculpture inside.

The church was nice but what was really good was the restaurant on the opposite corner of that main square.
