从首都安卡拉坐火车至伊兹密尔，火车站就停靠在ALSANCAK。火车站附近看起来像是个运输中心，四处都堆满了集装箱。在这遇到了非常友善的土耳其人，很感谢！

The entire region on the coastal road is Alsancak.The best location in the city is this region.Shopping, walking, dining and having coffee or bier with the friends in open air is very lovely.The restauants are excellent.

I have found the town very dirty, and very crowded it was very hard to walk in Kibris Sehitleri street, you can find many restaurants and shops around but it was not a really good experience for me.

Nice safe area of Izmir, with short walks to the seafront and nice restaurants and outside seating in the summer. Only a 20/30 minute taxi ride from the airport

Very chic boutiques of every design and yet down to earth prices when you shop around. Traffic free zones so no problems with that and plenty of tea shops to relax in

A lot of restaurants to choose from, romantic atmosphere by the water, great for a nice walk with a friend or loved one.

Like most people mention here, this is the area where shops, restaurants and bars are plentiful. We ended up in a nice jazz bar while staying in Izmir and there seems to be an option for most people around this neighborhood.Izmir was a very average city in my perception. What I enjoyed the most was the people I met there.Also, somewhere there is an awesome Turkish candy-shop which is in the end of the shopping street. Yummy :)

I would recommend this area for a night out soaking up Turkish culture. There are many restaurant options to choose from so if you have a few nights in izmir make one of them here.

Full of people walking around, full of all kinds of restaurants, music bars, shops.......A very nice place to visit

Take a fresh breath just in the middle of the city.Modernity,conform,Parisien breath,choice of huge restaurants,quality shopping,friendly people around.Taste the aegean food with cold beer and freshening breeze from the sea.

Its a nice place with many restaurants on sea side, a nice park/jogging track and a good market near by

Alsancak is a an interesting mix of commercialism and relaxing beachfront. The shopping there is great and there is a buzzing nightlife. If you want to escape the hustle, the seafront is very pretty and you can relax there in the open parks or grab some food at a restaurant and watch the water. I'd definitely recommend visiting while in Izmir.

Alsancak area is interesting and close to Clock Tower, the Bazaar area and many of the hotels.We like to pay a visit to the Konak Pier every time we visit Izmir. An interesting place with several good restaurants, a cinema and a bookshop with also English books.

If you ve been to bar streets in marmaris or istanbul you ll find a louder version here. It is fun if you like to have fun with action, but if you need to muse and be in peace you might find here unbearable after dinner. Still, is very colorful and fun to hang around.

We arrived at this train station and had a chance to walk around before going to the other train station, Basmanne. Had a quick breakfast at a nice corner café.
