My girlfriend and I visited this lovely national park during our vacation in Kusadasi and all that we can say about it is PERFECT. We went on 3rd beach, it is the last beach where dolmuses are going. At first, I was a bit disapointed beacause people told me that there are boars running around and after an hour, we haven't spot any of them. But a little bit later, group of younglings with their mother sneaked while we were in water and snifed around our stuff. Also if you like diving, bring your goggles, water is perfectly clean with large stones, with rich flora and fauna. Price for this pleasure is very symbolic, about 12 euros for 2 persons. If you are visiting Kusadasi and you love nature, don't miss this!
I only visited the Zeus Mağarası (Cave of Zeus) during my visit to Dilek National Park. We stopped in after visiting Ephesus and the cave is very cool. It is free to enter the park, but there is a bit of a hike to get to the cave. I was wearing strappy sandals and a sundress and was able to make it so running shoes are not necessary but they would've helped. Once the hike is over, you have to kind of rock climb to the entrance of the cave if you want to feel the water. I recommend going swimming but I will warn that the water was absolutely freezing (but refreshing after such a hot day), which should be expected since it is in a cave. It is definitely an experience I enjoyed.
There are three nice beaches. Icmeler is the nicest one. The seawater is great. You can see the Greek island Samos very closely. You should better rent a car for this activity.
Its nature at its peak.... beautiful clean & secluded beaches (3 of them).... lush green mountains...great for long walks and you can see Greece (My phone was even catching the signals :) ).Absolutely gorgeous & a must visit ..... leave early morning ..pack your breakfast & just laze around and soak into the beauty
A lovely location for some peace and quiet and exploring, photography and chatting with the local boar :-)
Visited the national park for a day, was 15 lira to enter but great value for money. We drove down to the 2nd beach first and had some lunch at the cafe alongside the car park, the food good however wasps were abit of a nightmare (could have done with bringing a swatter!), we then headed down the fourth beach which was a little bigger but didn't seem to have such an issue wasp wise then beach number two. Here you can see the Greek island of Samos and hook on to Greek telecom, so if you want cheaper calls and texts, this is the place to do it! On the way back down we stopped off at the third and first beaches, and found the first beach to be sandy, unlike the others which are rocky. Even some some wild boar along the way, you also must stop at the viewing huts along the route for some fab views down the coast!
We spent a relaxing 2 hours here on our last day in Turkey. We were lucky enough to run across a few wild boar including one close encounter on the beach! the water is crystal clear but can imagine the area is packed in high season. Agree with other reviews there are rather a lot of wasps it appears that one of the trees attracts them at one beach the tree was literally buzzing! Didn't cause us any problems though as they went about their business. Tip.. Take some flip flops as the beaches are very stony. All in all a very pleasant place to visit, highly recommended.
visited for a couple of hours, not much to do there for more than just a few hours. Very clear water with tiny little fishes swimming round your feet, nice beach area and a picnic area. Well worth a visit but don't plan a whole day.
My son and I enjoyed the shallow snorkeling in the Warm water in mid October. However the yellowjacket situation is pretty out-of-control as described by other reviewers. We were hounded for most of the time and decided to leave early. We did run across a family of wild boar that were very cute and fun to see.
We visited here on a boat trip. it is a very relaxing place. We didnt get to see the wild boar but did see dolphins on the way so that was a real treat
Great it has some lovely beaches and is only 20mins away by dolma from centre of kusadasi, just be aware of the wasps!
The wasps and flying beetles were so extreme we had to leave, the beach was rocky with lots of litter and the cafe was extortionate. Would not recommend.
Please note, there are many bees !! I do not understand why no one has mentioned this on TripAdvisor. A few minutes after we arrived, my friend was stung by a bee pretty bad. A person who was part of the staff noticed a few minutes away and provided with medication. This clearly demonstrates that bees sting frequently in the area. Dilek National Park Kusadasi is full of bees, including the entrance to the sea. I would say that there are so many, that I believe you're in a field full of flowers. You can not get out of there without being stung. This place is quite dangerous, one sting can kill you if you're allergic. I must admit that the area is very beautiful and has great scenery, but because of the bees, I will not come back again! Do not go if you have children! Bad experience!!
if you drive from kusadasi, it takes you less than 1 hour to arrive. the entry fee is around 15 tlr for a car. from entrance you can drive (or walk) along the park with nice view. there are altogether 4 beaches and all are very nice. The first one you see is always the most crowded one but that is the only one with sandy beach however for the other 3 beaches they are more quiet and also with clear water, only that they are pebble beach but are just as beautiful as the first one.you get free umbrellas and chairs inside the park (i was too stupid to buy a mat before going to the park). also there are showers and restaurants. Wild boars can be seen easily except the 1st beach. Also after you leave the park, near the exit you can go to the blue zeus cave to take a look. overall i think it is a really great place to relax and swim if you go to kusadasi. i heard if you drive to the other side you can also get to Dogenbay village with the best fish restaurants in town. But we didnt try as we don't have enough time.
Me and the wife went on a boat trip from Kusidasi to Dilek NationalPark stopping at little coves and having a swim the sea was really clear trouble was some of the beachs could have done with cleaning as there was loads of rubbish washed up on a couple of beaches
