which is situated in the center of town, the beautiful facade, full of cafes, restaurants - do not miss a walk if you accidentally find yourself in the vicinity. It connects the town quay, park with the center

Best aproach to this location is from the Danube quay, along the th Dunavski Park. There are many museums, passages with small shops, nice restaurants and pastry shops.

And a lot of bars and shops! Not really a lover of shops but my wife has appreciated more! I on the other side loved the architecture. I take some coffee and some sweets. Another day tried the famous brandy. Did not know that they have so many different fruit excellent brandy. Also wine has to be praised.

We are in Vojvodina region, and rather than Balkans it feels like Hungary, Czech Republic or Austria....elegant and charming, somehow different from the exuberant, fiery beauty that you can find in other parts of Serbia. Another demonstration of the extraordinary complexity of this (often neglected) part of Europe.

We spent only a short time in Novi Sad but were very impressed with the lovely old buildings on the pedestrian street. It was raining when we visited but this did not take away from the beauty. We had a very informative guide that made the city come alive. There were many cafes to stop for a drink or some food.

The wole old city of Novi Sad is vibrant at night. It seems like the whole city changes to one big open air cafe. All kind of music is played and the locals bring often bring their own food and drinks and start a party at the pavement. The inner city is not big, but well maintained and worth a visit.

Lovely area in the old centre of Novi Sad, which has charming squares, several interesting churches, all the shops, cafes, restaurants & bars you could need.

My advice: food market in the morning to get lots of fresh fruit, rent a bike through your hotel, cycle along the river to the beach, sleep in the shade, get some local snacks for lunch, in the evening explore the city by bike, in the evening go shopping in the old town and grab an ice cream from Dunavska street, eat traditional northern Serbian food at the Hotel Veliki restaurant (one of the best in town), explore the cafes and bars of the old town, every alleyway leads to a little courtyard.

Quaint and cute. Don't miss a leisurely walk to take in the architecture and stop for a coffee or ice cream. Don't miss the tile roofs

Lots of lovely little shops with interesting architecture. Very pleasant for a nice afternoon stroll. Plenty of cafes also.

Even though the weather was unseasonable fresh, Dunavska street is a wonderful place to visit and absorb the history, architecture and social scene that it provides.

Novi Sad is my favorite city. I always feel positive energy on this street and like to go back whenever I can :) ... in the nearby streets there are a lot of nice restaurants with friendly staff and excellent vine from Fruska gora vineyards ... I love the food and parties :) that always accompany good food and good vine :)) ... In the days before new year there was nice music playing on the square behind the cathedral in the city center.

Dunavska Street is one of the oldest streets and the best known street in the very center of Novi Sad (the capital of province of Vojvodina). There are shops, restaurants and coffé bars. There are also The Museum of Vojvodina and The City Museum of Novi Sad. It is located in pedestrian zone of the town center near the beautiful Danube Park.
