我们从圣吉尔根到圣沃尔夫冈，坐了50分钟左右的船。沃尔夫冈湖的水很透明，湖边的山有一部分呈黄色，相当美。船上看的圣沃尔夫冈小镇的风景真能入画，到圣沃尔夫冈之前，船降低了速度慢慢走，这是拍照片的很好的机会。有点遗憾的是，那天天气不太理想，虽让看到阳光，云彩很低，看不到Schafberg山顶。

It was nice to try the steam train going up the mountain over the lakes , passing over marvelous scene. Had a snack on top of mountain. Although we were in summer, but it was v. Cold up. Need heavy coat

Of all the markets we visited, this was voted the best by consensus. We were a group of 10 and visited the popular markets, but everybody loved the feel of the town turned into a Christmas village. It was pretty and we would have liked to have taken the ship over to the other markets on the lake. Unfortunately it was an hour and a half from where we were staying, so can't rate the others.

We loved the village, the lake and the Christmas markets. Unfortunately nearly all the shops and our hotel did not take American Express as payment and many only accept cash. This was slightly disappointing but I still hope to return in the summer months. The people were friendlier than in Vienna.

Worth to go on a boat trip with these modern ships on Abersee. Convenient and you can have a beautiful view of the nice small villages on the lake side especially at Christmas time, even nicer in summer when the sun shines.

We were lucky enough to visit at the time of the advent markets. The town itself is very pretty with lovely authentic Austrian houses with typical exterior decoration. The Advent market is very special with lit brassieres and live animals! On the lake are star lights and a large advent Candle which have their full effect after dark. Visiting via the lake ferry from St Gilgen is a wonderful way to visit.

We reached Wolfgangsee lake unplanned and with no idea about what to expect there (from Vienna). It turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Luckily it was sunny day and the entire place looked simply superb. Had nice lunch at one of the lake front restaurant and a nice cable car ride to one of the snow capped mountains.A must visit if you are in Austria !!

We really enjoyed this boat trip. The Wolfgangsee is so magnificent. In 45 minutes it takes you from the centre of St. Wolfgang to St. Gilgen. You then get many beautiful sights over the lake. We paid 28,40 Euro. Two adults and two children (4 and 6). This was also for the return trip.

Loved travelling on the schifffart even on rainy days! Not too expensive, buying the Salzkammargut card provides a discount. Schedules were very frequent and it was easy to obtain tickets.

You have the lake thing. Then you add some mountains.Then add some beautiful little towns and you have winning formula.Take the ferry and enjoy the ride, prepare your cameras as it's "one of those" places.

The cruise on this lake is very enjoyable and there are so many photo' opportunities. Even though it was raining we still had a good time, although we had to stay inside.

Worth going on the lake for a tour, it was luckily a super sunny day and meant we could see for miles and the views were spectacular.

A breathtaking view of the lake, it's like heaven on earth, prepare your camera because there are some amazing and outstanding photos waiting for you.

We left Fuschl only 7km away in brilliant sunshine over the hill and into a misty St Gilgel. We saw nothing on our trip across to St Wolfgang until 100m from the shore. The boat was full, with people standing. Given the cold damp conditions, nobody seemed interested to go onto the open top deck! It seemed to take for ever because you couldn't gauge speed on millpond smooth lake. The Christmas market was heaving and we decided that an early return was advisable; the 2:30pm was even fuller than the morning and we had to stand for the half hour return and then sprint for the bus (only hourly) getting it with two minutes to spare. I think that the boat was running late because of visibility and normally the connection would not be so tight.
