Excelent ski area, smaller than others but really good intermediate to advanced slopes, wide and well taken care of. Lots of national ski teen teams have been preparing here during our visit.

Smaller than other skiing areas in the Austria the Molltaler Gletscher may seem, for me it was free-ride paradise. Many off-piste chances to go. What I was surprised was its microclima. Every morning, despite no snowing occurred, all the tracks from the day before were covered with new snow. I suppose there is some wind bringing fresh snow coming during the nights. Elsewhere around there was no snow, every morning at Molltaler there were fresh off-pist tracks! Also the prices for ski pass and refreshments are not so high as in the larger austrian ski resorts.

An impressive ski area, excellent slopes, wide and long and the view around is overwhelming. The weather was very good and we skied all day. I will certainly return whenever I have the chance.

This late December the Moelltaler Gletscher was uninviting: cold and very windy. It was closed on the last days of 2014 and luckily opened on January 1. If the weather is good the place is not very crowded, the views are stunning and the slopes prepared perfectly.High season 6-day skipass for an adult costs 240 Euro. There is a possibility to buy clothes and skiing equipment on the slope. Also skiing and snowbording school is open.Enjoy and good luck with the weather!

A day before I came, there was sunny warm spring day at my home. Checked weather and go.There was very good snow and people told me that there was the best weather in season these days I was here.Slopes are well prepared, and everybody can skiing there. In the afternoon on some slopes snow gets softer, but that's normal.Food was not something special, but can be eaten.Go there and enjoy!

One of the few places in Europe to ski in November. Weather can be good or bad - check in advance. Very good slopes for experienced skiers. Not the best choice for starters.

wonderful drive up the alpine road (35 euros per parking is free every where ) this drive is not to be missed

Slopes are for beginner/average skiers. Excellent infrastructure, excellent service. We enjoyed 5 days of skiing fun, almost all tracks were functional and in good condition at least until 14:30. Definitely would return, if I need to ski during the kids' Spring break.

Skiing on this Moelltaler Gletscher is super, especially when the sun is shining and the day before it snowed 20 - 50 cm. Waw; It is great skiing pistes, for everybody a good piste, black/red and blue piste. Variable. With the express you are fast up. Only the tickets are not cheap.Starting from 11.00 it is 38 euro. Even in April was good snowEnough parking place with a shuttle bus driving to the station (between 200 -500 meters)

It was a nice 3-days spring skiing with a couple of friends. Snow condition was very good, nice weather and not crowded. Slopes are for everyone. Since opening of underground MG Express, I visited this skiing resort many times and can say only the best.

Yes, it is not big, with "only" 57 km of pistes it is relatively small. But this is what we love on it. Ideal for families with kids, nice long and wide blue slopes, enough red slopes and the black ones are always in perfect condition. And! From time to time you are alone on the slope - what a feeling compared to crowded popular places. This is my time to enjoy the views around. Iceberg altitude guarantees wonderful skiing especially in spring and autumn when the weather is not so cold and there is more sunny days than in winter. We spend there regularly one week every spring (5th time this year). The facilities are rather modest, but absolutely sufficient. Afternoon bombardino down in the round bar is a daily obligation :).

I love Molltaler Gletscher, because everyone can find his own way for skiing. There are many different possibilities for children, for staarters with skiing and also for advanced skiers. I advice for everyone. Perfect services and surrounding.

Molltaler Gletscher is a really nice skiing resort, with wide slopes and good facilities. You can choose from red, black and some blue slopes, and you can have fun in the funpark also. The lifts are in good condition and the ques are not big.The view from the top is breathtaking, make sure to take your camera :). You can find on the left side of the skilift a nice place to look around. The restaurant is a bit crowded normally, so you have to take some time if you want to grab something to eat there.

Een niet al te groot skigebied maar wel met één van de mooiste uitzichten van de regio.Het is geen drukte maar de meeste pistes zijn rood. Niet aan te raden voor beginnende skieërs.Er zijn ook enkele offroad pistes en het kan zijn dat daar niet voldoende sneeuw ligt of open stukjes met stenen of gras. De uitzichten zijn prachtig en je heb een mooi uitzicht over de Alpen. Met het treintje ga je de dwars de berg door naar een ander klein gebied waar je tot 2900m hoog kan gaan om te skieën.Een mooi gebied maar niet overdreven groot.
