在萨尔斯堡的郊区吧，坐缆车登山顶峰，也不算特别高。缆车上还见有周边的居民带着狗狗，山上不少野花，空气清新，能俯瞰整个城市及周边。

It wasn't snowing down in Salzburg so we took the cable car up for some good winter pictures. Must do if you have the Salzburg 24hour Card.

It's worth the whole journey up there to experience the old dinky ski lifts. The views are breath taking, just amazing.

This was the most beautiful thing i have ever seen. The view was spectacular, especially when it was snowing. The mountains are so vast and you can see from miles away. Definitely the highlight of my Europe trip.

So, we had already planned to visit Untersberg during our stay in Salzburg. When the day came that we planned to do it, it was grey and misty and we were a little doubtful as to what we would see at the top...however we not in the slightest disappointed that we decided to go ahead because we got a delightful surprise...popping out above the clouds as we went up in the cable car. The views at the top were spectacular - snowy mountains, blue sky and fluffy clouds down below. There was a thick covering of snow at the top, and a path that wound its way along up towards a viewpoint. Key points: - worthwhile to get the Salzburg card if you are planning to come up here as 24 hour card is 24 Euros and the return cable car journey is 22 Euros. The Salzburg card also covers the bus number 25 (which you can catch from the Bahnhof or Mirabelplatz or just across the river near to the altstadt). - If going in winter I would recommend shoes/boots with decent grip. At the top you will walk across snow and the path, although wide is quite steep up and down in places. - There are a couple of restaurants at the top. We used one to purchase hot chocolate before we headed back down. The price was reasonable and it was lovely to sit outside in the sun enjoying the warm drink and the lovely views. Highly recommend this as a half day trip from Salzburg. We got the Salzburg card for 24 hours. Amongst allowing us to visit lots of sights in town this allowed us a 30min bus ride to the mountain and transport up the cable car. The cable car itself is quite an experience! The view from the top is simply stunning!!

Just at the edge of the city, the views from atop are breathtaking. One of the very few places in the world where one can see aeroplanes flying below you. You are perched on those hills and planes flying to Salzburg airport are at a lower altitude . Beautiful!! There are cafes and restaurant on the top where you reach by a cable car.

Untersberg gives you a great view of Salzburg, but also a great look into the nature of Untersberg. I went in winter, so a group of us booked a snow shoeing tour. It was amazing and a great adventure!

If you have any chance to go up Untersberg at a clear day - winter or summer -, do so, you will not forget it. The cable car ride is spectacular and will deliver you just above the tree line. A little walk away from the top station and you'll have a breathtaking 360 degree view: the Central Alps with glaciers and peaks way above 3500 m altitude as well as the foothills to the North and West.If you are a somewhat experienced hiker and there is good weather in the summer season: climb it! It takes between 90 and 180 minutes, depending on your fitness, to walk up Dopplersteig from Fuerstenbrunn to the top station. Good hiking boots are a must, but you don't need climbing equipment. Best time is early in the morning - lots of locals do this frequently and they start some 30 mins before sunrise.

I would go as far as to say this is probably the best day out while on holiday we ever had.The Salzburg card gets you the bus no 25 and the incredible cable car ride up.Wear good walking boots for ice/snow in winter of course.Views were spectacular and we were literally in awe of the views and so thrilled to experience such a magical place.We had lunch in the friendly cafe on top and a beer looking out over the snowy mountain tops before taking the cable ride back down after an unforgettable day.Do this while in Salzburg!

We stumbled upon the Untersbergbahn by accident when we decided to rest our tired feet by taking the #25 bus to see where it went. Well, we ended up at the foot of the breathtaking Untersberg right at the station for the lift. We were able to catch the last ride of the day. The ascent was unbelievable and we were thrilled. We would truly like to return and go early so we could stay longer. Wunderschön!!

We travelled all the way by 25 bus here only to find it closed when we arrived due to adverse weather. Get the hotel to check it is open before you depart. As we were leaving next day, could not re-arrange.

This is an absolutely amazing hike to the peak. Wear very comfortable clothes and shoes. The climbing can get a little sketchy for some people. It's very worth it though. The views are AMAZING!

An easy 25-min bus ride from central Salzburg takes you to the foot of the cable car. It was very quiet when we were there, only one other couple in our cable car. Absolutely stunning views; we were lucky to have sunshine & blue skies. Not as much snow in Salzburg at this time of year as they'd expect, but still plenty up at the top. You can walk as far as you like once you're at the top, but do make sure you've got proper boots and preferably trekking poles for walking in the snow. And look out for the Alpine choughs flying around!

This was the most amazing hike of my life! A little difficult for sure, the incredible views/flowers/wildlife made it 100% worth it. I would guess 3-4 hours depending on skill level and speed. There are incredibly steep areas in which you are walking up "steps" carved into the rocks and holding onto cables drilled into the mountain face. Wow, what a rush!But the best part is once you get close to the top there is an amazing overlook of the entire city of Salzburg. Then you go a little further and come to a hostel just below the lodge area at the top. You must stop and get some lunch/beer! And these views are even better somehow! Then a little higher up you come to the lodge area where everyone in the gondola get dropped off. From here it can get a bit touristy as expected....but wow, breathtaking views every step of the way!!
